Recitation 359.J

Dear Quran Lovers,
Before we look into the Rites For The Hajj, let us look into some Rules of the Umra, the Towaf, and the 'Ibadah in the Masjidul-Harom.
 (a) When we perform Hajj Tamattuu, we are performing the Umra in the Hajj season, that is, in the months of Syawwal, Dzul-Qo'idah and the first Ten days of Dzul-Hijjah, thus, we shall have to be penalized by "Dam"/blood, i.e. sacrifice a goat on the 'Idul-Adh-ha/the Feast of Immolation day, that is on the Tenth of Dzul-Hijjah because we perform the Umra in the Hajj season. We should discuss with our Shiekh Hajj about the Dam. It is very difficult for us to perform the Dam ourselves.
(b). There are Four kinds of Towaf:
    (i) Towaf Qudum = Those who are performing Hajj Ifrod/ performing the Hajj first, and  after that they perform the Umra (after performing the Hajj). When they first enter the Baitulloh, and perform the Towaf, it is called Towaf Qudum/arrival or newcomer. It is a Towaf Tahiyyat/greeting or salutation, and it is also called Towaf Du-khul/entry. This is not a Rukun nor a Wajib to them.
Those who perform Hajj Qiron or Hajj Tamattuu, the Towaf is called Towaf Umra, and it covers/includes the Towaf Tahiyyat and the Towaf Qudum.
(ii) Towaf Ifa-dhoh = it is the Towaf Rukun for those who perform the Hajj.
(iii) Towaf Wadaa = farewell Towaf. It is performed when we are leaving Mecca for home.
(iv) Towaf Tatow-wuu = voluntery Towaf. This Towaf is performed when each time we enter into the Baitulloh, in lieu of the Solat Tahiyyatul-Masjid in other mosques on earth. This Towaf needs no quick walking nor to bare the right shoulder. (We do not perform Solat Tahiy-yatul Masjid in the Baitulloh, but perform this Towaf Tatow-wuu).
(c) During our free times while waiting for Wukuf at the 'Arofah plain, we should perform our Solat in the Baitulloh. Jabir r.a. reported that the Prophet s.a.w. said, "Performing one Solat in my mosque/Masjidun-Nabawi in Medina, will earn you (more benefit, just like you have performed) a thousand Solat in other mosques, except the Sacred Mosque, the Baitulloh, which will earn you a hundred thousand Solat if performed in other mosques.".
(d) When we are in the Baitulloh, as reported by An-Nasay from Usamah bin Zaid, that the Prophet s.a.w. when entering the Baitulloh, would place his s.a.w. face and cheek to the wall of the Caaba, and he s.a.w. would praise Allah, entreat Doa and recited the Istighfar. It is preffered that if we recite this:
 اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ وَعَدْتَ مَنْ دَخَلَ بَيْتِكَ الْأَمْنَ = "Allohum~ma In~na Ka Wa-'at Ta Man Da-kho-la Bai-ti Kal-Am-na". = (O Allah, truly, You have promised to give peace and calm to those who enter into Your House.
Wa An-ta Khoir-ru Maw~Waf-fa~". = (and You are the best in keeping promises.
Allohum~ma Faj-'al A-ma~ni-ya" = ( O Allah, please make for me, my peace and calm,
أَنْ تَكْفِيَنِى كُلَّ مَا أَهَمَّنِى مِنْ أَمْرِ الدُّنْيَا والْأَخِرَةِ = "An Tak-fi-ya Ni~ Kul-la Ma~ A-ham~ma Ni~ Min Am-rid-Dun-ya~ Wal-A~khi-roh". = ( that You fulfil for me all those things that are important to me in this world and in the Hereafter,
Hat-ta~ Ad-khu-lal-Jan-na-ta Bi Ghoi-ri Hi-sa~b". = (until I enter into the Paradise without being quetioned.).
(e) It is also preferred that we enter into the Hijir Ismail, the space between the Caaba, between Iraq Corner and Syria Corner, and the semicircle fortification, and perform Solat Sunnah. [I had always performed my Solat Sunnah 'Isyaa and Solat Witir there].
It is preferred to recite:
يَا رَبِّ أَتَيْتُكَ مِنْ شُقَّةٍ بَعِيْدَةٍ مُؤَمَّلًا مَعْرُوفَكَ = "Ya~ Robb, A~tai-tu Ka Min Syaq-qo-tim Ba-'i~da-tim~Mu-am~ma-lam~Maa-ru~fak", = (O Lord, I come to You from a far place with full of hope for Your kindness and favour,
Fa A-nil Ni~ Maa-ru~fam~ Mim~ Maa-ru~fa Ka" = ( So, grant me with a complete kindness and a complete favour of Your kindness and favour,
Tugh-ni~ Ni~ Bi Hi~ 'Am~Maa-ru~fam~Min Si-wa~k", = (that I shall not require from other people, ever again,
Ya~ Maa-ru~fam~Bil-Maa-ru~f". = (O He/Allah who is Well Known for granting kindness and favour). (as told by An-Nawawi).
(13) When we are told by our Sheikh Hajj when we shall leave for 'Arafah to perform Wukuf, we should: (to be continued).
Until we meet again in the next session, see you all Quran Lovers later.
