Recitation 359.G

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us continue to look into the Rite For Umra:
 The Sa'i:
(4) It is Sunnah to recite Doa and the verses of the Quran while performing the Sa'i. Begin walking with the right leg. When we come to and see the over head green light at the wall on our right, quicken our steps/half walking and half running until we reach another over head green light, walk with usual steps.
It was reported that the Prophet s.a.w. had recited the following while performing Sa'i:
 (i) رَبِّ اغْفِرْ وَارْحَمْ وَاهْدِنِى السَّبِيْلَ الْأَقْوَمَ = "Rob-bigh-fir War-ham Wah-di Nis-Sa-bi~lal-Aq-wam".  = (O Lord, forgive and have mercy on me, and guide me to the straight way).
 (ii) رَبِّ اغْفِرْ وَارْحَمْ, إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْأَعَزُّ الْأَكْرَمُ = "Rob-bigh-fir War-ham,  In~na Ka An-tal-A-'az-zul-Ak-rom". = ( O Lord, forgive and have mercy on me. Truly, You are the Most Powerful, the Most Nobel".
 (iii) رَبَّنَا أَتِنَا فِى الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِى الْأَخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ = "Rob-ba Na~ A~ti Na~ Fid-Dun-ya~Ha-sa-nah, Wa Fil-A~khi-ro-ti Ha-sa-nah. Wa-qi Na~ 'A-dza~ban~Na~r" = (O our Lord, give us what is good in this world, and give us what is good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the torment of the Hell Fire).
(According to Al-Fairuzabadi, the Prophet s.a.w. had also recite the following:)
 (iv) يَا مُقَلِّبَ الْقُلُوبِ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِى عَلَى دِينِكَ  وَعَلَى طَاعَتِكَ = "Ya Mu-qol-liBal-Qu-lu~b, Thab-bit Qol-bi~ 'A-la~ Di~ni Ka Wa 'A-la~ To~'a-tik". = (O He/Allah who always turn over/overturn the (people's) hearts, make my heart firm in believing in Your religion and in obeying You.).
 (v) اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّى أًَسْأَلُكَ مُوْجِبَاتِ رَحْمَتِكَ = "Al-Lohum~ma In~ni~ As-a-lu Ka Mu~ji-ba~ti Roh-ma-tik", = (O Allah, really, I am asking You for all that are necessitating Your Rohmat,
وَعَزَائِمُ مَغْفِرَتِكَ وَالسَّلَامَةَ مِنْ كُلِّ إِثْمٍ = "Wa 'A-za~i-mu Magh-fi-ro-ti Ka Was-Sa-la~ma-ta Min Kul-li Ith-min" = ( and for resolution to Your forgiveness, and for to be free from doing all sin,
وَالْفَوْزَ بِالْجَنَّةِ وَالنًّجَاةَ مِنَ النَّارِ = "Wal-Faw-za Bil-Jan~na-ti Wan~Na-ja~ta Mi-nan~Na~r". = ( and to be successful in gaining the Paradise, and to be saved from the Hell Fire).
 (vi) اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّى أَسْألُكَ الْهُدَى وَالتُّقَى والْعَفَافَ وَالْغِنَى = "Al-Lohum~ma In~ni~ As-a-lu Kal-Hu-da~ Wat-Tu-qo~ Wal-'A-fa~fa Wal-ghi-na~" = (O Allah, truly, I am asking for guidance, and protection from infidelity, and for righteousness, and for wealth).
(vii) اللًّهُمَّ أَعِنِّى عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ وَشُكْرِكَ وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ = "Al-Lohum~ma A-'in~Ni~ 'A-la~ Dzik-ri Ka Wa Syuk-ri Ka Wa Hus-ni 'I-ba~da-tik". = (O Allah, help me in remembering You, and in  thanking You, and in making better my 'Ibadah/religious observations to You).
