Recitation 359.F

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us continue to look into the Rites For the Umra:
(L) After performing the Sunnah entreating Doa at the Multazam, we go to Shofa mountain to perform another "Rukun"/basic element of the Umra. As we go there, we need not recite the Talbiyah.
 The conditions for performing Sa'i are:
(i) Must be performed after performing the Towaf. 
(ii) Must be Seven times, to and fro.
(iii) Start from Shofa and end at Marwa.
(iv) The Sa'i must be performed on it's course, and in accordance with the Sunnah of the Prophet s.a.w.
  (a) Climbing to the top of the mountains. It is not required to climb up to the top of the mountains.
  (b) It needs not to be continuous. We may leave for performing Solat Fardhu, or to go to the toilet, or to take a rest, if we feel tired or sick and so forth. Then continue with the Sa'i. (from Ibnu Umar, narrated by Sa'id bin Marwa).
  (c) we may perform Sa'i if we are in defilement. (If we break wind/passed air) we need not take ablution. But to be in the condition of cleanliness is preferred. (from Aisyah r.a., narrated by Muslim).

  (d) Like the Towaf, we may perform the Sa'i on foot or on a carriage. (from Ibnu Abbas, narrated by Muslim and others).
    (1). When we have passed through the door of the Shofa (from the Baitulloh) which is the left side of the Shofa mountain, and when approaching the Shofa mountain, it is Sunnah to recite:
  إِنَّ الصَّفَا والْمَرْوَةَ مِنْ شَعَائِرِالله = "In~nash-Sho-fa~ Wal-Mar-wa-ta Minsy~Sya-'a~~i-ril-Lah" = (Truly, the Shofa and the Marwah (mountains) are among the rites of Allah.
أَبْدَأُ بِمَا بَدَأَ اللهُ بِهِ = "Ab-da-u Bi Ma~ Ba-da-al-Lohu Bih" =  ( I begin with what was begun by Allah).
 (2) Then climb up the mountain until we can see the Baitulloh, which is below us, as It is in a valley. Turn towards the Qiblat, and recite:
اللهُ أَكْبَرُ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ وَلِلهِ الْحَمْدُ = "Al-Lohu Akbar, Al-Lohu Akbar, Al-Lohu Akbar, Wa Lil-Lahil-Hamd". = (Allah is Great, Allah is Great, Allah is Great, and praise and thanks to Allah.
اللهُ أَكْبَرُ عَلَى مَا هَدَانَا = "Al-Lohu Akbar 'A-la~ Ma~ Ha-da~ Na~" = (Allah is Great for what He had guided us,
وَالْحَمْدُ لِلهِ عَلَى مَا أَوْلَانَا = "Wal-Ham-du Lil-lahi 'A-la~ Ma~ Aw-la~ Na~" = ( and praise and thanks to Allah for what He had bestowed us.
لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيْكَ لَهُ = "La~ I-la~ha Il-lal-Lohu Wah-da Hu~ La~ Sya-ri~ka Lah". = ( There is no God to be worshipped but Allah , He is alone, He is without peer/equal.
لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ = "La Hul-Mul-ku Wa La Hul-Hamd" =  ( His is the sovereignty and His is all praise.
يُحْىِى وَيُمِيْتُ بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْرُ = "Yuh-yi~ Wa Yu-mi~tu Bi Ya-di Hil-Khoir" = ( He give life and cause death, in His hand lies all that is good,
وَهُو عَلَى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ = "Wa Hu-wa 'A-la~ Kul-li Syai-in Qo-di~r" = ( and He is Able to do all things). 
لأَ إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ أَنْجَزَوَعدَهُو وَنَصَرَ عَبْدَهُو  = "La~ I-la~ha Il-Lal-Loh, An-ja-za Waa-da Hu~ Wa Na-sho-ro 'Ab-dah", = (There is no God to be worshipped but Allah. He always fulfil His promise and help His bondservant,
وَهَزَمَ الْأَحْزَابَ وَحْدَهُ = "Wa Ha-za-mal-Ah-za~ba Wah-dah" = (and defeated/destroyed the band [of infidels] alone). 
لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ = "La~ I-la~ha Il-Lal-Loh", = (there is no God but Allah)
وَلَا نَعْبُدُ إِلَّا إِيَّاهُ مُخْلِصِيْنَ لَهُ الدِّينَ = "Wa La~ Naa-bu-du Il-la~ Iy-ya~ Hu Mukh-li-shi~na La Hud-Di~n" = ( and we do not worship except Him/Allah. We are sincere and devoted to Him/ Allah,
وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكَفِرُونَ = "Wa Law Ka-ri-hal-Ka~fi-ru~n" = (although the infidels hate it).
اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ قُلْتَ : أُدْعُونِى أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ = "Al-Lohum~ma In~na Ka Qul Ta : Ud-'u~ Ni~ As-ta-jib La Kum",  = (O Allah, truly, You have said, "Appeal to Me and I will answer/fulfil  your request,
وَإِنَّكَ لَا تُخْلِفُ الْمِيعَاد = "Wa In~na Ka La~ Tukh-li-ful-Mi~'a~d" = ( and really, You never break Your promise.
وَإِنِّى أَسْأَلُكَ كَمَا هَدَيْتَنِى لِلْاِسْلَامِ = "Wa In~ni~ As-a-lu Ka Ka-ma~ Ha-dai Ta Ni~ Lil-Is-la~mi" = ( and truly, I am asking You, just as You have guided me to Islam,
أَنْ لَا تَنْزَعَهُو مِنِّى = "Al-La~ Tanz~za-'a Hu~ Min~Ni~" = (that You do not remove from/deprive me of It/Islam
حَتَّى تَتَوَفَّانِى وَأَنَا مُسْلِمٌ = "Hat-ta~ Ta-ta-waf-fa~Ni Wa A-na Muslim". = (until You take my soul while I am a Muslim).
 If we have other wishes, entreat them and these Doa should be repeated Three times. And do not recite the Talbiah/Labbai Kal-Lohumma Labbaik. (from Nafi').
(3) Then walk across to the other side of Shofa mountain/the right side. And descend to the ground.
(4) Begin to walk with the right leg to Marwah: (to be continued).
