"An" = that, "Yu-naz-za-la" = is sent down, " 'A-lai" = on, to, "Kum" = you, "Min" = of, "KHoi-rin" = good thing, "Min" = from, "Rob-bi" = Lord, "Kum" = your. [When كَ = a singular you is written or said with كُمْ = a plural you, is a show of respect].

وَاْللهُ يَخْتَصُّ بِرَحْمَتِهِى مَن يَشَآءُ = "Wal-Lohu Yakh-tash-shu Bi Roh-ma-ti Hi~  May~Ya-sya~~a". "Wa" = And, But, "Al-Lohu" = Allah, "Yakh-tash-shu" = singles out, "Bi" = by, for, "Roh-ma-ti" = Mercy, "Hi~" = His, "Man" = whom, "Ya-sya~~u" = He wishes.

(Allah informs that those unbelievers, be they among the People of the Scripture, the Children of Israel who considered themselves as the only rightful person to hold the post of the Messenger and the Prophet of Allah/Yahweh because they were the descendants of Israel, so were those among the Polytheists, the Idolaters considered themselves as the rightful person to be the Messenger and the Prophet of God as they were very wealthy. But that good favour was not for any common person to possess. It was for Allah to determine who was the right person, and who He wished to bestow the good favour. Truly, Allah is the Infinite Bounty.).

Let now continue to look into the Basic Islamic Rules:
   (2) Solat:  (H) The Solat Of A Person Who Slept Or Forgets To Perform Solat:
When a person slept or forgets to perform solat until the time of that Solat is over, he/she must perform it as soon as he/she wakes up from the sleep or when remembers that he/she has not performed the Solat.
Abu Qotadah r.a. reported that the Companions of the Prophet s.a.w. had told the Prophet s.a.w. about them falling on sleep and had missed performing the Solat. The Prophet s.a.w. said, "To fall on sleep does not mean to neglect (in performing the duty to perform Solat). Negligence is when a person who does not perform the Solat when he/she is not sleeping (or very busy). Thence, when he/she forgets to perform Solat or is asleep, he/she must perform it as soon as he/she remembers or when wakes up from the sleep.". (narrated by Nasa-i and Tirmidzi).
Imron ibnu Hushain r.a. reported, " We were on a journey with the Prophet s.a.w. during the night time. It was very late. We stopped to rest. Our sleep was very deep and sound till we were awaken by the strong heat of the sun. Everyone of us took the Wudhu hurriedly, but the Prophet s.a.w. told us to take it easy and be calm. Then, we began our journey (without performing Solat Shubuh), and continued with the journey until the sun was up. Then the Prophet s.a.w. took his Wudhu, asked Bilal to call the Adzan. Then the Prophet s.a.w. performed Solat Sunnah Fajar 2 Rokaat. Then Bilal call the Qomat. Then all of us performed Solat Shubuh in a Jamaah/group. After the solat, the Companions asked, "O Messenger of Allah! Should this Solat be reperformed tomorrow morning during its time?" The Prophet s.a.w. replied, "When you Lord prohibited you from earning  high charged interest for loan of money, would He accept it from you? (No, you need not reperform it)". (narrated by Ahmad and others).
  (I) The Times of Day When No Solat Should Be Performed:
The Times when Muslimin must not perform Solat are:
 (a) After Solat Fardhu Shubuh is performed until sunrise.
 (b) When sunrise until it is as high as a spear (about half an hour after sunrise).
  (c) At midday, the overhead sun until it begins to set/to slip away from the overhead towards  the West.
  (d) After performing Solat 'Ashor until sunset.
Amr ibnu Abasah r.a. reported, "I asked the Prophet s.a.w. "O Prophet! Tell me about the instruction of Solat. He s.a.w. said, "Perform Solat Shubuh. Then do not perform any Solat until sunrise and when it moves up, because (at that time, between sunrise and when it moves up (within a half hour) it/the sun is at the position of in between the two horns of the Satan. {Accoding to Nawawi, this means that the satan closes his head towards the sun so that when the sun-worshippers bow/worship the sun they would bow to him. And at that time, Satan and his army can disturb the Solat of the Muslimin. This is the reason why it is Makruh/not Sunnah to perform Solat during the above mentioned times}. This is the time when unbelievers worship/bow to the sun. Then (after a half hour after sunrise) perform Solat because at this time your Solat is being watched and is attended (by the Angels) until the shadow hits the spear (at midday/overhead sun). At this time (midday), do not perform Solat because the Hell Fire is being lit. Then, when the shadow (of an object) can be seen, perform Solat (Zhuhur) because the Solat is being watched and is attended (by the Angels) until you perform Solat 'Ashor. Then, do not perform Solat (after Solat Fardhu 'Ashor) until sunset because (during after Solat 'Ashor till sunset) it/the sun sets in between the two horns of the Satan. That is the time when the unbelievers bow to it.". (narrated by Ahmad and Muslim).
Uqbah ibnu Amir said, "The Prophet s.a.w. prohibited us from performing Solat, and from burying the deceased at three periods of times: (i) when sunrise until it is up/a half hour after sunrise, (ii) at midday and (iii) when the sun is inclining until setting". (narrated by Jamaah).
However most Ulama were/are of the opinion that to Qodhoo any Solat, may be performed during these said times, as the Prophet s.a.w. said, "Whosoever forgets to perform Solat, must perform it when he remembers". (narrated by Bukhori and Muslim).
  The Niat: "U-shol-li~ Far-dhosh-Shubhi Qo-dho~an".
  (J) Solat Sunnah Ta-hiy-ya-tul-Mas-jid/salutation to the mosque: (to be continued).
Until we meet again in the next session, see you all Quran Lovers soon.
والسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
