أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم
ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us continue to recite surah 2 Al-Baqoroh (synopsis of Islam). Please refer to the text:
"Wa" = And, "it-Ta-ba-'u~" = to follow, "Ma~" = what, "Tat-lu~" = to recite, "asy-SYa-ya~ti~nu" = the Satans/evil ones, " 'A-la~" = on, during, "Mul-ki" = to rule, reign, "Su-lai-ma~nu" = Solomon.
"Wat-Ta-ba-'u~ Ma~ Tat-lusy-SYa-ya~ti~nu 'A-la~ Mul-ki Su-lai-ma~~n".  = They/The Children of Israel followed what the Satans/ people who taught witchcraft recited during the King Solomon's reign.
صلى = a Waqof Jaiz sign.
وَمَا كَفَرَ سُلَيْمَنُ وَلَكِنَّ اُلشَّيَطِينَ كَفَرُواْ = "Wa Ma~ Ka-fa-ro Su-lai-ma~nu Wa La~kin~nasy-SYa-ya~ti~na Ka-fa-ru~"  = "Wa" = And, "Ma~" = no, not, "Ka-fa-ro" = blasphemy, relapse, "Su-lai-ma~nu" = Solomon, "Wa La~kin" = but, "asy-SYa-ya~ti~na" = the Satans/evil ones, "Ka-fa-ru~" = they blasphemy/contempt for Allah,
يُعَلِّمُونَ اُلنَّاسَ اُلسِّحْرَ = "Yu-'al-li-mu~nan~Na~sas-Sih-ro",  "Yu-'al-li-mu~na" they make, "an~Na~sa" = the people, "as-Sih-ro" = the witchcraft,
"Wa" = and, "Ma~" = what, "Unz~Zi-la" = bring down, reveal, " 'A-la~" = on, to, "al-Ma-la-kai-ni" = two Angels, "Bi" = in, "Ba~bi-la" = Babylon, "Ha~ru~ta" = Ha~ru~t (a name of an Angel), "Wa" = and, "Ma~ru~ta" = Ma~ru~t (a name of an Angel).

"Wa Ma~ Ka-fa-ro Su-lai-ma~nu Wa La~kin~nasy-SYa-ya~ti~na Ka-fa-ru~ Yu-'al-li-mu~nan~Na~sas-Sih-ro Wa Ma~~ Unz~Zi-la 'A-lal-Ma-la-kai-ni Bi Ba~bi-la Ha~ru~ta Wa Ma~ru~~t". = And Solomon was not a blasphemy, but the Satans (who taught the witchcraft) were blasphemies. They taught the people/Children of Israel witchcraft and what/the witchcraft was revealed to them by the two Angels, Harut and Marut in Babylon.
(The Jewish priests and scholars and so forth whom Allah regarded them as people who threw away or disregarded the Scripture were interested in witchcraft. They learnt it and then taught it to his people. These were the people whom Allah called "the Satans". That/the teaching of witchcraft  had been done and had been going on as from the time of Prophet and King Solomon's a.s. reign until the time of our Prophet s.a.w.
The Prophet and King Solomon a.s. was the Prophet and the Messenger of Allah who was given a spectacular Muujizat/Prophetic Powers. He a.s. was in command of mankind and the animals, the Jinn, the wind and whatever it was on earth. Allah has described them in surah 38 Shodd, verses 36 - 38: "(36) We/Allah subjected the wind to his/Solomon's Power, it blew softy at his bidding wherever he directed it. (37) And the Satans/evil ones to be his builders (building buildings, ships and so forth), and (some of the Satans) to be his divers (into the sea). (37) And the others (Satans) were bound together in chains.".
What the Prophet and King Solomon had was God-given powers and not witchcraft which involved in evil-spirits. But what the Jewish priests had was witchcraft that they learnt from the two Angels, Harut and Marut who were teaching the craft in Babylon. They were the blasphemies and not the Prophet and King Solomon a.s.).
