Ya~ Ai-yu-hal-La-dzi~na A~ma-nu~",  "Ya~ Ai-yu-ha~" = O, "al-La-dzi~na" = who, "A~ma-nu~" = believe,
لَا تَقُولُواْ رَعِنَا = "La~ Ta-qu~lu~ Ro~'i Na~",  "La~" = no, do not, "Ta-qu~lu~" = all of you say, "Ro~'i" = listen to, "Na~" = us,
وَقُولُواْ اُنظُرْنَا وَاُسْمَعُواْ = "Wa Qu~lunzh~zhurr Na~ Was-ma-'u~", "Wa" = and, but, "Qu~lu~" = all of you say, "unzh~zhurr" = look upon, "Na~" = us, "Wa" = and, "is-ma-'u~" = listen, take heed.
"Ya~ Ai-yu-hal-La-dzi~na A~ma-nu~ La~ Ta-qu~lu~ Ro~'i Na~ Wa Qu~lunzh~zhurr Na Was-ma-'u~".  = O Believers! Do not ever say (to the Prophet s.a.w. with the words) "Ro~'i Na~"/listen to us, but say, "Unzh~zhurr Na~"/look upon us. so, take heed.
قلى = a Waqof Jaiz sign.
وَلِلْكَفِرِينَ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ = "Wa Lil-Ka~fi-ri~na 'A-dza~bun A-li~~m". "Wa" = And, "Li" = for, "al-Ka~fi-ri~na" = the unbelievers, " 'A-dza~bun" = punishment, "A-li~mun" = painful.
"Wa Lil-Ka~fi-ri~na 'A-dza~bun A-li~~m".  = And for the unbelievers (shall be) painful punishment.
(Allah tells the Muuminin/Believers not to use words that were commonly used by the Jews or the Pagan Arabs which had abusive meaning, such as, "Ro~'i Na" = listen to us (while in Hebrew, it carries the meaning, "O evil one") when talking to the Prophet s.a.w. and they/the Muuminin should use other words which has the same meaning, that is "Unzh~zhur Na~" = look upon us, then take heed of what the Prophet s.a.w. had to explain.).
