Recitation 169

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم
ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Dear Quran Lovers,
It was reported that there was a bush fire in the West Sydney, N.S.W., a few days ago. And yesterday morning, another bush fire  broke out in Winmalee, NSW. Let us lend a hand by reciting surah Yasin and It Doa that that bush fire be extinguished quickly. Thank you all.
Let us recite surah 101Al-Qo~ri'ah. Please refer to the text:
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم
(1) اُلْقَارِعَةُ = "Al-Qo~ri-'ah". = The Calamity/The hour of the last Doomsday/The thunderous sound of the striking blow on the hour of the last Doomsday.
(2) مَا اُلْقَارِعَةُ = "Mal-Qo~ri-'ah". "Ma~" = What is, "al-Qo~ri-'a-tu" = the Calamity/the thunderous sound on the hour of the last Doomsday.
(3) وَمَآأَدْرَىكَ مَااُلْقَارِعَةُ = "Wa Ma~~ Add-ro~ Ka Mal-Qo~ri-'ah". "Wa Ma~" = And what, "Add-ro~" = know, "Ka" = you, "Ma~" = what, "al-Qo~ri-'a-tu" = the Calamity.
"Wa Ma~~ Add-ro Ka Mal-Qo~ri-'ah" = And what do you all know/understand "Al-Qo~ri-'ah" is.
"Yaw-ma" = day, "Ya-ku~nu" = it becomes, "an~Na~su" = the Mankind, "Ka" = like, "al-Fa-ro~syi" = the butterflies, moths, "al-Mabb-thu~thi" = scattered.
"Yaw-ma Ya-ku~nun~Na~su Kal-Fa-ro~syil-Mabb-thu~~th". = (Al-Qo~ri-'ah is) A day when the Mankind becomes like that of the butterflies/moths scattered away (because there are so many people panicking and are in a very disorderly condition).
(5) وَتَكُونُ اُلْجِبَالُ كَاُلْعِهْنِ اُلْمَنفُوشِ = "Wa Ta-ku~nul-Ji-ba~lu Kal-'Ih-nil-Manf~fu~~sy". "Wa" = And, "Ta-ku~nu" = it becomes, "al-Ji-ba~lu" = the mountains, the hills, "Ka" = like, "al-'Ih-ni" = the wool, "al-Manf~fu~syi" = puffed up.
"Wa Ta-ku~nul-Ji-ba~lu Kal-'Ih-nil-Manf~fu~~sy". = And then, the mountains and the hills become like that of the puffed/blown up wool in the air.
( This is the beginning of the life in the Hereafter. And on that day, all deeds, good or evil, are being weighed and each person will be recompensed).
(6) (to be continued).
                               oooo000oooo
Let us now continue to look into the Basic Islamic Rules:
  (2) Solat: [The 'Awrat/modesty of a woman/female of age and the 'Awrat/modesty of a slave girl:
Ibnu 'Umar r.a. said, " The Prophet s.a.w. said,"Whosoever drags his/her garment with a feeling of conceited, haughty, will not be looked at by Allah in the Hereafter". Ummu Salamah asked, "How may the women do with the hem of their garments?" The Prophet s.a.w. replied, "Lower them to about a span/about 20 cm (from their feet)". Ummu Salamah said, "If so, it would expose the feet when walking." The Prophet s.a.w. then replied, "Then, lower it/the hem to about an arm's length/45 cm., and not more than that". (narrated by An-Nasa'i and Tirmidzi).
{Since I was a young boy, I have observed men performed/ performing solat, some with their sarong lifted high up to their calves, and some with their pants rolled up to their calves. It is believed that they have misunderstood the meaning of this Hadith or were misinformed.}.
At-Tirmidzi said, "Most Ulama were of the opinion that a woman/ an of age female, Wajib to cover her hair when performing solat. If some of the hair were exposed, it would spoil her solat."
Al-Khoththabi said, " The Ulama had differences of opinions about the extent of the 'Awrat of a woman to be covered when solat".
Asy-Syafiei and Al-Auza'i said, "It is Wajib on her to cover her whole body except  her face and palms. This opinion was narrated by Ibnu Abbas and 'Athaa.  Abu Bakar ibnu AbdirRahman said, "The whole body". Imam Malik bin Anas said, "When while solat, her hair is exposed or the back of her hand/s is/are exposed, (her solat is spoilt), she must reperform her solat, if there were  still time."
Imam Ahmad ibnu Hanbal said, (to be continued).
Until we meet again, insya Allah, see you all Quran Lovers soon.
والسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
