بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us continue to recite surah 99 Az-Zalzalah. Please refer to the text:
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
(7) فَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًا يَرَهُ = "Fa May~Yaa-mal Mith-qo~la DZar-ro-tin KHoi-roy~Ya-roh. " Fa" = Then, "Man" = who, "Yaa-mal" = do, "Mith-qo~la" = weight, "DZar-ro-tin" = a particle, jot, "KHoi-ron" = good, "Ya-ro" = see, "Hu" = it.
"Fa May~Yaa-mal Mith-qo~la DZar-ro-tin KHoi-roy~Ya-roh". = Then, (on the Judgement Day), those who have done a particle/ teeny weeny in weight of goodness (in their life times on earth) will see it/the reward.
(8) وَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ شَرًّا يَرَهُ = "Wa May~Yaa-mal Mith-qo~la DZar-ro-tinsy~SYar-roy~Ya-roh". "Wa" = And, "Man" = who, Yaa-mal" = do, "Mith-qo~la" = weight, "DZar-ro-tin" = a particle, jot, "SYar-ron" = evil, "Ya-ro" = see, "Hu" = it.
"Wa May~Yaa-mal Mith-qo~la DZar-ro-tinsy~SYar-roy~Ya-roh".  = And those who who have done a particle/teeny weeny in weight of evil (in their life times on earth) will see it/the punishment.
صدق الله العظيم = True were the Words of Allah the Most Great.
Insya Allah, in the next session, we shall recite surah 100 Al-'A~diya~t. (The Hadith narrated by Abu 'Ubaid that The Prophet s.a.w. said, "Idza~ Zulzilati/surah Az-Zalzalah is same as a half of the Quran, and Wal-'A~diya~ti/surah Al-'A~diya~t is also same  as a half of the Quran.").
                             oooo000oooo
Let us continue to look into the Basic Islamic Rules:
 (2) Solat:(4) To Cover Up The 'Awrat/modesty:
     Solat Without Wearing A Head-gear:
Ibnu 'Asakir had reported from Ibnu Abbas r.a. "The Prophet s.a.w. at times, took off his head-cover and placed it in front of him as a mat (before performing solat)".
The School of Hanafi regards males performing solat without covering their heads is permissible, they even regard it as a Sunnah if it would cause "Khusyuu"/engrossment in the solat. And there is none saying that by covering the head is better than not covering the head, when performing solat.
 (5) To Face The Qiblat/direction of the Caaba:
The Ulama had unanimously said that when a person performs solat, it is Wajib/obligatory to face towards Masjidil-Harom/the Sacred Mosque (in Mecca), as Allah says in surah 2 Al-Baqoroh, verse 144, "... So turn your face (including your chest) toward Al-Masjidi Al-Harom/the Sacred Mosque, and you (O Muslims), wherever you may be, turn your faces towards It (when performing solat)..."
And the Hadith reported by Barra' who said, " We performed solat with the Prophet s.a.w. for 16 or 17 months facing toward Baitul-Maqdis/Jerusalem, then we changed toward Caaba." (narrated by Muslim).
The Rule About People Stand In Full View Of The Caaba And Those Who Are Not:
Those who stand in full view of the Caaba, it is Wajib/obligatory that they are to face toward the Caaba Itself. But those who are not standing in full view of the Caaba, it is Wajib that they face toward the direction of the Caaba. A Hadith reported by Abu Hurairah r.a. said, "The Prohet s.a.w. said, "What is in the middle of the East and the West (the North and the South) is Qiblat" (narrated by Ibnu Majah, Tirmidzi who said this Hadith is good and authentic, and Bukhari).
How To Know The Direction Of The Qiblat: (to be continued).
Until we meet again, see you Quran Lovers later.
والسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
