                                  oooo000oooo
Let us now continue to look into the Basic Islamic Rules:
 (2) Solat: (5) To Face The Qiblat/direction of the Caaba:
How To Know The Direction Of The Qiblat:
The Hadith about the situation of the Caaba in between/middle the East and the West is the Qiblat of the inhabitants in Medina and those in the same course of direction, such as, Syria, Jazirah and Iraq.
Those in Egypt, their Qiblat is between East and South-East. In India, is facing the East. And so forth. (In this modern time, there are gadgets such as "Compass showing direction of the Caaba", the compass is with a booklet of directions of all over the world. I have bought one at RM6.90.).
If we do not have any compass, go to a nearest mosque or a place of solat and look at its niche, or ask people. But if we could not get a direction because of darkness or far away from people/Muslims,
then, we have to "Ij-ti-had/independent careful judgment, and perform solat to the direction of our "Ijtihad". After the solat, we found that our "Ijtihad" was wrong, then our solat was considered "Shah"/justified and we need not reperform the solat. But while we perform the solat, and a person told us that our direction of Qiblat was wrong, then we must immediately turn to the right direction without breaking off the solat. This is based on the Hadith reported by Ibnu Umar that "When people were performing solat SHubuh, a man came and said "The night before, the Prophet s.a.w. had received a Revelation commanding the Prophet s.a.w and Muslims to change the Qiblat from Jerusalem to the Caaba, so change  the direction  now." Thence, they all changed direction (without breaking off their solat)". (narrated by all).
When we solat, say Zohor, to a direction based on our Ijtidah, when performing another solat, 'Ashor, we must make a new Ijtihad. But if the new Ijtihad is different from the first, we must adopt/make use of this new Ijtihad and need not reperform the first solat, Zhohor.
The Condition Which The Obligation To Facing The Qiblat Is Dropped/omitted. (to be continued).
Tomorrow is our "Idul-Adh-ha"/The Feast Of Immolation. This blog is taking just one day off.
To all of you, Quran Lovers, especially who perform or are having a part of the immolation, we wish that MAY ALLAH ACCEPT YOUR IMMOLUTION. AND MAY ALLAH BLESS US ALL. Ami~n.
Until we meet again in the coming session, see you all Quran Lovers soon.
والسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
