Recitation 160

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم
ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us continue to recite surah 98 Al-Baiyinah. Please refer to the text:
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
(4) وَمَا تَفَرَّقَ اُلَّذِينَ أُو تُواْاُلْكِتَبَ إِلَّا مِنمبَعْدِ مَا جَآءَتْهُمُ اُلْبَيِّنَةُ
وَمَا تَفَرَّقَ اُلَّذِين أُوتُواْاُلْكِتَبَ = "Wa Ma~ Ta-far-ro-qol-La-dzi~na U~tul-Ki-ta~ba", "Wa" = And, "Ma~" = not, "Ta-far-ro-qo" = separate, parting, "al-La-dzi~na" = who, "U~tu~" = given, "al-Ki-ta~ba" = the Book/Scripture,
إِلَّا مِنمبَعْدِ مَا جَآءَتْهُمُ اُلْبَيِّنَةُ = "Il-la~ Mim~Baa-di Ma~ Ja~~at Hu-mul-Bai-yi-nah". "Il-la~" = except, "Min" = from, "Baa-di" = after that, "Ma~" = what, "Ja~~at" = came, "Hu-mu" = them, "al-Bai-yi-na-tu" = the evident, proof.
"Wa Ma~ Ta-far-ro-qol-La-dzi~na U~tul-Ki-ta~ba Il-la~ Mim~Baa-di Ma Ja~~at Hu-mul-Bai-yi-nah". = And those (unbelievers) who are given the Scripture/Quran do not separate themselves except after they are given/received the clear evident/proof. (These unbelievers were together when they were waiting for the promised Prophet/Messenger of Allah to come forth. And when the Prophet s.a.w. came to them with the clear proof  (the Quran), they began to be separated, some believe in the Prophet s.a.w., and some do not believe in him s.a.w.).
(5)  وَمَآأُمِرُواْ~إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُواْ اُللهَ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ اُلدِّينَ 
  حُنَفآءَ وَيُقِيمُواْ اُلصَّلَوةَ وَيُؤْتُواْ اُلزَّكَوةَ ج وَذَلِكَ دِينُ اُلْقَيِّمَةِ
وَمَآأُمِرُواْ~إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُواْ اُللهَ = "Wa Ma~~ U-mi-ru~~ Il-la~ Li Yaa-bu-dul-Loha", "Wa Ma~" And not, "U-mi-ru~" = commanded, "Il-la~" = except, "Li" = to, for, "Yaa-bu-du~" = worship, "Al-Loha" = Allah,
مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ اُلدِّينَ حُنَفَآءَ = "Mukh-li-shi~na La Hud-Di~na H*u-na-fa~~a", "Mukh-li-shi~na" = to be sincere, "La Hu" = to Him, "ad-Di~na" = the religion, "H*u-na-fa~~a" = true believers,
وَيُقِيمُواْاُلصَّلَوةَ وَيُؤْتُواْ اُلزَّكَوةَ = "Wa Yu-qi~mush=SHo-la~ta (the و with a tiny Alif is not pronounced, it, the و is a bearer letter to the tiny Alif sign denoting a Madd Ashli to be pronounced to 2 harakah/beats = la~) Wa Yuu-tuz-Za-ka~~h",  "Wa" = and, "Yu-qi~mu~" = to establish, perform, "ash-SHo-la~ta" = the solat/prayers, "Wa" = and, "Yuu-tu~" = to give out, "az-Za-ka~ta" = the Zakat/poor-dues,
"Wa Ma~~ U-mi-ru~~ Il-La~ Li Yaa-bu-dul-Loha Mukh-li-shi~na La Hud-Di~na H*u-na-fa~~a Wa Yu-qi~mush-SHo-la~ta Wa Yuu-tuz-Za-ka~~h" = And they/the People of the Scriptures are commanded only to worship Allah/the One and Only God sincerely, obeying Him and truly believe (in Him) and perform the solat and give the Zakat/poor-dues (Zakat is not and will never be Tithe).
ج = A Waqof Jaiz/permissible pause sign.
وَذَلِكَ دِينُ اُلْقَيِّمَةِ = "Wa DZa~li-ka Di~nul-Qoi-yi-mah". "Wa" = And, "DZa~li-ka" = that is, "Di~nu" = religion, "al-Qoi-yi-ma-ti" = the true faith.
"Wa DZa~li-ka Di~nul-Qoi-yi-mah" = And thus, that is  a religion of the true faith.

Let us now continue to look into the Basic Islamic Rules:
(2) Solat: (D) To Cover Up The 'Awrat/modesty:
  (i) The 'Awrat of a male: There are 2 other Hadith: 1. from  Abul 'Aliyah Al-Bara', narrated by Muslim, and 2. from Ibnu Hazmin concering the exposing of thighs from the saying of the Prophet s.a.w. and that Abu Bakar r.a. and Qus ibnu Syumas had exposed their thighs in the public.
  (ii) Those who say that the navel, the abdomen, the thighs are 'Awrat, based their opinions on these 2 Hadith: (to be continued).
