Recitation 163

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم
ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us recite surah 99 Az-Zalzalah. Please refer to the text:
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم
(1) إِذَازُلْزِلَتِ اُلْأَرْضُ زِلْزَالَهَا = "I-dza~ Zul-zi-la-til-Arr-dhu Zil-za~la Ha~.". "I-dza~" = When, "Zul-zi-la-ti" = to shake, to cause to tremble, "al-Arr-dhu" = the earth, "Zil-za~la" = tremble, "Ha~" = her, it.
"I-dza~ Zul-zi-la-til-Arr-dhu Zil-za~la Ha`". = When the earth is caused to tremble its most violent earthquake.
(2) وَأَخْرَجَتِ اُلْأَرْضُ أَثْقَالَهَا = "Wa Akh-ro-ja-til-Arr-dhu Ath-qo~la Ha~". "Wa" = And, "Akh-ro-ja-ti" = to emit, "al-Arr-dhu" = the earth, "Ath-qo~la" = burden, load, "Ha~" her, it.
"Wa Akh-ro-ja-til-Arr-dhu Ath-qo~la Ha~". = And the earth emits all of her burden (contents in side her).
(3) وَقَالَ اُلْإِنسَنُ مَا لَهَا = "Wa Qo~lal-Ins~sa~nu Ma~ La Ha~". "Wa" = and, "Qo~la" = say, "al-Ins~sa~nu" = the mankind, "Ma~" = what, "La" = to, with, "Ha~" = her, it.
"Wa Qo~lal-Ins~sa~nu Ma~ La Ha~". = And the mankind says, "What is the matter/what's wrong with her/the earth?".

Let us now continue to look into the Basic Islamic Rules:
 (2) Solat: (D) To Cover Up the 'Awrat/modesty:
  'Awrat of a female:
  The kind of garment must be worn by a female when performing the solat:
      The garment must cover her 'Awrat, i.e. her whole body, from head to toes except the face and both palms, even if the garment is tight but is covering all, ( long gloves and  long stockings may be worn), this is Wajib/obligatory.
      If the garment were thin and were transparent where the colour of the hair or the skin could be seen/known, its black, white, etc. such garment could not and should not be worn in performing solat.
If it were worn, then, Allah would not accept her solat and it was a sin to do so. 
    It is Sunnah to wear two or more best kinds of garments so that the person is adorned or make up. A report from Ibnu Umar r.a. who said, "The Prophet s.a.w. said, "When anyone of you want to perform solat, you should wear two kinds of garments, because it is fitting and proper to "meet" Allah in a adornment and making up garments. If you do not have two garments, you should wear sarong, and never coil round your garment/s to your body when performing solat because it is the way of the Jews". (narrated by Tibroni and Baihaqi).
    From Buraida who said, "The Prophet s.a.w. has prohibitted a person who wrapped himself up with a piece of cloth in his solat till he could not move comfortably. He s.a.w. also prohibitted a person performing solat wearing pants without wearing a shirt".
