Recitation 157

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم
ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us continue to recite surah 97 Al-Qoddrr. Please refer to the text:
(3) (Ibnu Abbas r.a. said, "When the Prophet s.a.w. was reminded about a Jew of the Children of Israel who carried weapons on his shoulders to fight enemies in the course of Allah for a thousand months, the Prophet s.a.w. then entreat a doa, "O Allah! You have given my ummah/people very short lives and their amal/practice is very little." Thence, Allah gave the Prophet s.a.w. Lailatu Al-Qoddrr/Night of Decree which is far better than a thousand months. If the Prophet s.a.w. and his ummah/people were to perform 'ibadat/religious rites such as zikr, reciting the Quran, istighfar and so forth and perform solat Sunnah on this Lailatu Al-Qoddrr, will gain rewards much much more than that of the Jew who fought in the course of Allah for a thousand months.
"The Lailatu Al-Qoddrr", the Prophet s.a.w. said, "is on one of the last ten nights (of Ramadan) and is on the odd night, such as: 11th, 13th, 15th and so forth".
Aisyah r.a. said, "The Prophet s.a.w. when it was the last 10 nights of Ramadan, would call his household members to be awake and to perform ibadah." Aisyah r.a. also said, "I have asked the Prophet s.a.w. what should I do if I had found the Lailatu Al-Qoddrr. The Prophet s.a.w. replied, " Recite:
أللهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ كَرِيمٌ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّى = "Al-Lohum~ma In~na Ka 'A-fuw-wank~Kari~m, Tu-h*ib-bul-'Af-wa Faa-fu 'An~ni~". = O Allah, You are the God who forgives and are Noble, (You) love to give forgiveness, thus, forgive me." (narrated by At-Tirmidzi). [It is good for us to recite this recitation at the least three times].
(4) (to be continued).
                           oooo000oooo
Let us continue to look into the Basic Islamic Rules:
 (2) Solat: (D) To Cover Up the'Awrat/modesty:
This is based on surah 7 Al-Aarof, verse 31, "O Children of Adam! Take/put on your beautiful attire/dress well at every place of sujud/solat (and each time you perform solat)."
And the Hadith from Salmah ibnu Akwaa r.a. who said, "I said (to the Prophet s.a.w.) "O Rosululloh! Can I wear shirt when solat?" The Prophet s.a.w. replied, "Yes, you can and fasten/button it up even with thorns." (narrated by Bukhari and others).
 (i) The 'Awrat/modesty of a male:
It is wajib/obligatory on a male to cover his 'awrat when performing solat. A male's 'awrat is his front private  part and his buttocks. Other than theses, such as his belly, navel, thighs and knees are not 'awrat of a male.
There were/are people who say other than the front private part and the buttocks, as mentioned above, are not 'awrat, but there are people who say they, the belly, navel, thighs and knees are 'awrat.
Those who say they are not 'awrat have based their opinions from these Hadith: (to be continued).
Tomorrow is Friday, is a day off for this blog. Until we meet again, see you all Quran Lovers soon.
والسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
