بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم
ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us continue to recite surah 2 Al-Baqoroh (synopsis of the Religion of Islam). Please refer to the text:
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان ارجيم
(28)  كَيْفَ تَكْفُرُونَ بِاللهِ وَكُنتُمْ أَمْوَتًا فَأَحْيَكُمْ صلى ثُمَّ يُمِيتُكُمْ ثُمَّ يُحْيِيكُمْ ثُمَّ إِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
كَيْفَ تَكْفُرُونَ بِاُللهِ وَكُنتُمْ أَمْوَتًا فَأَحْيَكُمْ = "Kai-fa Tak-fu-ru~na Bil-Lahi Wa Kunt~Tum Am-wa~tanf~Fa Ah-ya~ Kum", "Kai-fa" = How, "Tak-fu-ru~na" = you disbelieve, deny, "Bi" = with, "Al-Lahi" = Allah, "Wa" = and, "Kun" = to be, "Tum" = all of you, "Am-wa~tan" = to die, "Fa" = then, "Ah-ya~" = to give life to, "Kum" = all of you,
"Kai-fa Tak-fu-ru~na Bil-Lahi Wa Kunt~Tum Am-wa~tanf~Fa Ah-ya~ Kum",  = How could all of you/the unbelievers not believe in/deny Allah (the One and Only God, the Almighty?) Were you not in the beginning dead (you all were just from a drop of semen which was a dead thing and it was in your father's bodies. When the semen entered in your mother's wombs it became a clot of blood. Then the clot of blood became a piece of flesh). Then (We/Allah) gives you life/souls and all of you became alive.
صلى = a Waqof Jaiz sign.

"THum~ma" = Then, "Yu-mi~tu" = He takes lives (from), "Kum" = all of you, "THum~ma" = then, "Yuh-yi~" = He gives lives (to), "Kum" = all of you, "THum~ma" = then, "I-lai" = to, "Hi" = Him, "Turr-ja-'u~na". = you all return.
"THum~ma Yu-mi~tu Kum THum~ma Yuh-yi~ Kum THum~ma I-lai Hi Turr-ja-'u~~n". = Then (after you were born, you live your lives in this world. And when your life span is over,) He/Allah takes away your lives (and you enter into your second death and be in your graves waiting for your second life, which is the eternal life, to come). Then (He/Allah will revive all of you on the Judgment Day) He gives lives (for the second and final time) to you (so that all of you will live forever and ever). Then to Him/Allah you shall all return (to be judged and be recompensed for your deeds you all did during your life time on earth. If you did more good than evil, then you will be rewarded with the Paradise and all of its comfort and joyous. But if you did more evil, then you will be punished in the Fiery Hell).
(29) (to be continued).
                                    oooo000oooo
Let us now continue to look into the Basic Islamic Rules:
  (2) Solat: (v) Rukuu/bowing:
From Abu Mas'ud al-Badari who said that the Prophet s.a.w. said, "A solat of a person is incomplete when his bottoms are not straight during his Rukuu and/or his Sujud ( i.e. there must be a Tomaaninah/pause during  Rukuu and Sujud, and do not quickly raise up, like that of a spring, when Rukuu and Sujud are performed).
From Musho'ah ibnu Sa'ad ibnu Abi Waqosh who said, "I was performing solat beside my father/Sa'ad ibnu Abi Waqosh. While Rukuu, I interlocked my fingers and placed them in between my two knees. My father hit my hands. After solat, he said, "In the beginning, we did that/interlocking fingers and placing them in between both knees. Then the Prophet s.a.w. commanded us to place our both hands on our both knees".(narrated by Muslim).
(vi) "Ii-ti-dal"/straightness = raise from Rukuu and stand upright with a Tomaaninah/pause:
Based on Abu Humaid's clarification about the way the Prophet s.a.w. performed solat, "And when he s.a.w. raised his head (and body) up from Rukuu, he s.a.w. did not Sujud straight away but stood upright until all of his s.a.w. vertebra joins were in place again". (narrated by Bukhari and Muslim).
The Hadith from Aisyah r.a. which was narrated by Muslim, and the Hadith narrated by Bukhari and Muslim said the same thing about the way the Prophet s.a.w. performed the Iitidal.
Then a report from Abu Huroiroh r.a. who said that the Prophet s.a.w. said, "Allah will not take notice on a solat of a person who does not straighten his bottoms when in between Rukuu and Sujud that is, the Iitidal/straightness". (narrated by Ahmad, and according to Mundziri, the Asnad/chains of authorities on this Hadith is very good).
[When Iitidal, do not tilt up the head nor the eyes look upwards, but the head is straight with the body, and the eyes cast downwords looking the place of sujud].
  (vii) Suju~d/prostration: (to be continued).
Until we meet again in the next session, see you all Quran Lovers later.
