أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم
ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Dear Quran Lovers,
We shall now recite surah 93 Adh-DHu-ha~. Please refer to the text:
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم
(1) وَاُلضُّحَى = "Wadh-DHu-h*a~" = "Wa" = By, "adh-DHu-h*a~" = the coming to light.
"Wadh-DHu-h*a~". = (Allah swears) By the appearance of the light (at the forenoon).
(2) وَاُلَّيْلِ إِذَا سَجَى = "Wal-Lail-li I-dza~ Sa-ja~". "Wa Al-Lai-li" = and the night, "I-dza~" = when, "Sa-ja~" = calm and quiet.
"Wal-Lai-li I-dza~ Sa-ja~" = And (by) the night when it is late, with its calmness and quietness.
(3) مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلَى = "Ma~ Wad-da-'a Ka Rob-bu Ka Wa Ma~ Qo-la~". "Ma~" = Not, "Wad-da-'a" = to leave, "Ka" = you, "Wa Ma~" = and not, "Qo=la~" =  hate.
"Ma~ Wad-da-'a Ka Rob-bu Ka Wa Ma~ Qo-la~" = Your Lord has not left/abandoned you (O Muhammad), nor hates you. (This happened at the beginning when the Prophet s.a.w. first received a revelation from Allah, then, the revelation ceased from coming to him for some period of time. And the Prophet s.a.w. thought that Allah had abandoned him and was angry with him. Thence, Allah swore by the appearance of the morning light and by the late, calm and quiet night that He is not so).
(4) وَلَلْأَخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لَّكَ مِنَ اُلْأُلَى = "Wa Lal-A~khi-ro-tu KHoi-rul-La Ka Mi-nal-U~la~". "Wa" = And, "La" = indeed, "al-A~khi-ro-tu" = the future life, "KHoi-run" = is better, "La Ka" = for you, "Mi-na" = from, than, "al-U~la~" = the first.
"Wa Lal-A~khi-ro-tu KHoi-rul-La Ka Mi-nal-U~la~". = And (by Allah) the future life/the Hereafter ( or the conclusion/ending of your mission) will be much better than the first/present life on this earth (or the beginning of your mission).
(5) (to be continued).
