بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم
ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Dear Quran Lovers,
We shall now continue to recite surah 91 Asy-Syams. Please refer to the text.
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
(11) كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ بِطَغْوَىهَا = "Kadz-DZa-bat THa-mu~du Bi T*ogh-wa~ Ha~". "Kadz-DZa-bat" = To deny, "THa-mu~du" = Thamuud, "Bi" = of, "T*ogh-wa~" = trespass, "Ha~" = her, it.
"Kadz-DZa-bat THa-mu~du Bi T*ogh-wa~ Ha~" = Thamuud (and his subjects, of an Arab tribe) had denied the Truth (of their Prophet/Salih a.s. and/or of the punishment that Allah would impose upon them for their/Thamuud and his subjects'  error) and they had trespassed (in demanding Prophet Salih a.s. to reveal his Prophetic Power to prove to them that he/Salih a.s. was the Messenger of Allah).
(12) إِذِاُمنبَعَثَ أَشْقَىهَا = "I-dzim~(an Iqlab/changing نْ to مْ when a Tanwin, نْ meets بَ ) ba-'a-tha Asy-qo~ Ha~". "I-dzin" = Then, "im~ba-'a-tha" = to rise, "Asy-qo~" = to make unhappy, "Ha~" = it.
"I-dzim~ba-'a-tha Isy-qo~ Ha~" =  Then (a most evil person) rose among them to cause unhappiness (by taking with him several people: men, women, boys and girls wanting to slaughter the she camel which was bestowed by Allah to Prophet Salih a.s. as his "muujizat"/Prophetic Power).
(13) (to be continued).
                                   oooo000oooo
Let us now look into the Basic Islamic Rules:
(2) Solat: Water: Tayammum/ablution with earth: sand, soil, dust.
   (i) When Tayammum/ablution with earth is permitted:
When a person who had defiled oneself either in a minor or a major defilement, either he/she is in his/her resident/not a visitor or in a journey and is in these conditions:
(a) There is no water available or there is but a little and is not enough for ablution. This is based on the Hadith reported by Imran bin Husein who said, " We were in a journey with the Prophet s.a.w. (When solat time) he s.a.w. performed solat with the people, except one man who isolated himself. The Prophet s.a.w. then asked the man, "Why did you not perform solat with us?" The man answered, "I am in Janabah/major defilement and there no water (to Ghusul)". Then the Prophet s.a.w. said, "Make use of the earth, that will suffice." (narrated by Bukhari and Muslim). And from Abu Dzar r.a. who said, "The Prophet s.a.w. said, "Truly, the earth/sand, soil, dust can cleanse a person who cannot obtain water (even) for ten years". (narrated by the group of Sunan, and according to Tirmidzi, this Hadith is good and authentic.). But before a person takes Tayammum, one must first search for water from one's travel provision, or from one's friends, or from the surrounding area and it needs not be reasonabaly far place, then one is not wajib/obligatory to go on searching.
(b) (to be continued)
