Recitation 353

Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us continue to recite surah 2 Al-Baqoroh, synopsis of Islam. Please refer to the text:
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
(206) وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُ اُتَّقِ اُللهَ أَخَذَتْهُ اُلْعِزَّةُ بِاُلْإِثْمِ ج فَحَسْبُهُو جَهَنَّمُ ج وَلَبِئْسَ اُلْمِهَادُ
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُ اُتَّقِ اُللهَ = "Wa I-dza~ Qi~la La Hut-Ta-qil-Lah",  "Wa" = And, "I-dza~" = when, "Qi~la" = is said, "La" = to, "Hu" = him, "it-Ta-qi" = fear, "Al-Laha" = Allah,
A-kho-dzat Hul-'Iz-za-tu Bil-Ithm".  "A-kho-dzat" = aroused, "Hu" = his, "al-'Iz-za-tu" = the pride, "Bi" = with, "Ith-mi" = the sin.
"Wa I-dza~ Qi~la La Hut-Ta-qil-Laha A-kho-dzat Hul- 'Iz-za-tu Bil-Ithm".  = And when it was said to him/the hypocrite, "Fear Allah". (That word) has aroused/stirred up his feeling of pride (which caused him) to commit sin.
ج = a Waqof Jaiz sign.
Fa Has-bu Hu~ Ja-han~nam".  "Fa" = Then, "Has-bu" = sufficiency, "Hu~" = his, "Ja-han~namu" = Hell.
"Fa Has-bu Hu~ Ja-han~nam".  = Then, it is sufficient for him (to be thrown into the) Hell.
ج = a Waqof Jaiz sign.
Wa La Bii-sal-Mi-ha~~dd".  "Wa" = And, Thus, "La" = truly, "Bii-sa" = vile indeed, "al-Mi-ha~du" = the resting place.
"Wa La Bii-sal-Mi-ha~~dd"   = Thus, truly, (the Hell is) indeed a vile resting place.
(This verse means that when a person is using foul language while giving a bad charater is told to behave by saying, "Fear Allah and stop using foul words and stop behaving badly, and be good!", he will surely refuse and will become arrogant and is furious with anger due to the sin he had committed which has concealed his soul. Thus, Allah s.w.t. say that the Hell is sufficient for such person that he be punished for his foul-mouthed, ill-mannered and for being arrogant. And the Hell is a vile place for one's resting place).
(207) (to be continued).
                                        oooo000oooo
Let us now look into the rites for Umra:
We have looked into the Arkan/Basic Elements of Umra and the Wajibat/Obligatory to be performed in the Umra. Before looking into the rites for Umra, let us start from the beginning:
  When we are told by the person in charge of our local Body dealing with Hajj and Umra, (in Malaysia, it is the Tabung Haji/Pilgims' Fund), that on such a date we are to leave by plane to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia for the Hajj/Umra.
(1) It is Sunnah before leaving our home that we perform a two Rokaat Solat Sunnah, as reported by Mut'im ibnu Miqdam, narrated by Tibroni and Ibnu 'Asakir.
(2) It is Sunnah to have a companion, even for a man, because the Prophet s.a.w. forbade a person travelling alone, as reported by Ibnu Umar, narrated by Ahmad.
(3) When we are entering into a vehicle, or into a plane, and so forth, it is Sunnah to recite, "Bis-mil-Lah". Then when we have sit comfortably, recite,  "الْحَمْدُ لِله " = Al-Ham-du Lil-Lah" = (Praise be to Allah).
Sub-ha~nal-La-dzi~ Sakh-kho-ro La Na~ Ha~dza~"  = ( Glory be to Allah who utilizes this (vehicle/plane and so forth) for us),
Wa Ma~ Kun~Na~ La Hu~ Muq-ri-ni~n". = (for before this, we have not been associated),
Wa In~Na~ I-la~ Rob- bi Na~ La Munq~qo-li-bu~n" =  ( Truly, later, we shall return to our Lord).
Then, recite, الْحَمْدُ لِله = "Al-Hamdu Lil-Lah" = three times,
Al-Lohu Ak-bar" = three times,
then, سُبْحَانَكَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ = "Sub-ha~na Ka La~ I-la~ha Il-la~ An~ta",  = (Glory be to You, there is no other God (to be worshipped) but You",
Qod Zho-lam Tu Naf-si~ Fagh-fir Li~" =  ( Really I have wronged, so, forgive me),
إِنَّهُو لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ = In~na Hu~ La~ Yagh-fi-rodz-Dzu-nu~ba Il-la~ An~ta".  = ( Truly, there is none who can forgive sin but You". (From Ali ibnu Robi'ah, narrated by Ahmad, Ibnu Hibban and Hakim).
(4) When stop, and stay in a house, recite (to be continued).
Until we meet again in the next session, see you all Quran Lovers later.
