أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الر حمن الرحيم
ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Dear Quran Lovers,
In the last session, I had misspelt the word, "Nuzulul-Quran" as "Nuzurul-Quran" which is wrong, it should be Nuzulul-Quran. Very sorry for the mistake.
Let us now continue to recite surah 2 Al-Baqoroh, synopsis of Islam. Please refer to the text:
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
(201) وَمِنهُم مَّن يَقُولُ رَبَّنَآ ءَاتِنَا فِى اُلدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِى اُلْأَخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ اُلنَّارِ
وَمِنْهُم مَّن يَقُولُ رَبَّنَآ ءَاتِنَا فِى اُلدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً = "Wa Min Hum~Mai-Ya-qu~lu Rob-ba Na~~ A~ti Na~ Fid-Dun-ya~ Ha-sa-nah",  "Wa" = And, "Min" = from, "Hum" = them, "Man" = who, "Ya-qu~lu" = say, "Rob-ba" = Lord, "Na~" = our, "A~ti" = give, "Na~" = us, "Fi~" = in, "ad-Dun-ya~" = this world, "Ha-sa-na-tan" = goodness,

 وَفِى اُلْأَخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ اُلنَّارِ = "Wa Fil-A~khi-ro-ti Ha-sa-na-taw~Wa Qi Na~ 'A-dza~ban~Na~~rr".   "Wa" = and, "Fi~" = in, "al-A~khi-ro-ti" = the Hereafter, "Ha-sa-na-tan" = goodness, "Wa-qi" = protect, "Na~" = us, " 'A-dza~ba" = punishment, torment, "an~Na~ri" = the Hell Fire.
"Wa Fil-A~khi-ro-ti Ha-sa-na-taw~Wa-qi Na~ 'A-dza~ban~Na~~rr".  = and (give us) what is good in the Hereafter. Protect us from the torment of the Hell Fire.
(202) أُوْلَئِكَ لَهُمْ نَصِيبٌ مِّمَّا كَسَبُواْ ج وَاُللهُ سَرِيعُ اُلْحِسَابِ
أُوْلَئِكَ لَهُمْ نَصِيبٌ مِّمَّا كَسَبُواْ =  "U-la~~i-ka La Hum Na-shi~bum~Mim~ma~ Ka-s-bu~",  "U-la~~i-ka" = These are, "La" = for, "Hum" = them, "Na-shi~bun" = share, portion, "Mim~ma~" = of what, "Ka-sa-bu~" = they earn,

"Wal-Lohu Sa-ri~'ul-Hi-sa~~bb".  = For Allah is quick in reckoning.
(After them/the Pagan Arabs in the pre-Islamic era, the Believers came to perform Wukuf, and they say in their Doa, "O our Lord, give us what is good in this world, and (give us) what is good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the torment of the Hell Fire", then Allah s.w.t. revealed this verse, "These are those people who gain their share from what they had done, for Allah is quick in reckoning".
Allah s.w.t. praised those who entreat for the goodness in this world which includes averting all evil. Goodness in this world includes health, spacious home, beautiful, physically and in character, spouse, abundant in good fortune, gain much good knowledge, able to perform good deeds, nice vehicle, and so forth. While the goodness in the Hereafter is to enter into Allah's s.w.t. Paradise. And to be protected from the torment of the Hell Fire is, avoiding committing sin and wrong doing which will cause us to be thrown into the Hell Fire.
Ibnu Abi 'Adi reported that once, the Prophet s.a.w. had visited a Muslim who was very weak and was very thin as that as a chick. The Prophet s.a.w. asked the man, "Did you entreat a Doa to Allah or have you asked for something from Him?" The man said, "Yes. I said, "O Allah, if you have fixed a torment on me in the Hereafter, impose it on me in this world.". The Prophet s.a.w. said, "Sub-ha~nal-loh/Glory be to Allah! You are unable to nor capable of enduring it! Why do you not recite, "O our Lord, give us what is good in this world and give us what is good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the torment of the Hell Fire!". Then the weak man, entreat this Doa, and Allah made him well again. (narrated by Muslim).
(203) (to be continued).
                                     oooo000oooo
Let us now look into the Hajj Rites:
Women Performing the Hajj:
Like the menfolks, the women are Wajib/obligated to perform the Hajj once in their lifetimes. But they must be accompanied by their husbands or their next of kin. This is in accordance with the report from Ibnu Abbas, narrated by Bukhori and Muslim.
Imam Syafiei was of the opinion that if a woman who does not have a husband nor any next of kin, she is allowed to be accompanied by a trusted woman.
A Wife To Ask Her Husband's Permission:
It is Sunnah for a woman to ask her husband's permission to perform the Hajj which is her duty to perform. If the husband allows her, she goes. If he does not allow her, her should go without her husband's permission because it is her duty to perform the Hajj. And husbands must allow their wives to perform the Hajj obligated to them/the wives.
If it was a Hajj Sunnah, she must not go to perform the Hajj.
Performing Hajj On Borrowed Money:
The Prophet disallowed people to go to perform the Hajj on borrowed money: Hadith from Abdullah ibnu Abi Aufa, narrated by Baihaqi.
Performing the Hajj With Illegal Money:
Most Ulama said that the Hajj is valid but the person is sinned. But Imam Ahmad said, his Hajj is not valid, because "Allah is Good, He s.w.t. will not accept anything but the good". This opinion is the strongest.
The Way The Prophet s.a.w. Performed The Hajj:
(to be continued).
Until we meet again in the next session, see you all Quran Lovers soon.
