Recitation 9

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم
Assalamu alaikum w. w. Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us continue with surah 2 Al-Baqoroh. Please refer to the Quran text:
(5) أُوْلآءِكَ  عَلَى هُدًى مِن رَّبِهِمْ صلى وَأُلآءِكَ هُمْ اُلْمُفْلِحُونَ 
أُوْلآءِكَ = standing Hamzah front with silent Waw is "U" (the silent Waw is an extra letter is not pronounced and it is not a Madd, only an unmarked Waw is a Madd), Lam above with a tiny Alif is a Madd ashli but it meets with Hamzah below in the same word is "La~~" (a Madd Wajib Muttashil/Obligatory Adjoining = 4 harakah), Hamzah below is "I", Kaf above is "Ka" = "Ula~~ika" = these/those
عَلَى = `Ain above is "`A", Lam above with a tiny Alif on its bearer Ya is "La~" (a Madd ashli = 2 harakah) = "`Ala~" = upon
هُدًى مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ = He front is "Hu", Dal 2 above and double Mim is "Dam~" (a Tanwin meets with Mim is an Idghom Maal-GHunnah/ assimilating with a humming nasal sound to the length of 2 harakah, the unmarked ى is an extra and unpronounced letter), Mim below 
with Nun and double Ro is "Mir"(a silent Nun meets with a Ro above is an Idghom Bi La~ GHunnah/assimilating without humming the nasal sound), Ro above and double Ba is "Rob" (the Ro is above and is Ro Tafkhim, to be emphasised), Ba below is "Bi", He below with silent Mim is "Him", the silent Mim meets with Waw above is an Izhhar SYafawi/expressing clearly the مْ = "Hudan" = guidance, "Min" = from/of, "Robbi" = Lord, "Him" = their    = "Ula~~ika `Ala~ Hudam~Mir-Rob-bi-him" = These are under the guidance of their Lord
صلى = is a pausing sign situated above مْ , called Waqof Jaiz Maa Kaun Al-Washol Awla/ pause is permitted but continuity/washol is 
preferred (we do not have a flat bottom ى)
وَأُوْلآءِكَ هُمُ اُلْمُفْلِحُونَ 
وَأُوْلآءِكَ = Waw above is "Wa", standing Hamzah front with silent Waw is "U" (the silent Waw is an extra letter and is unpronounced and is not a Madd), Lam above with a tiny Alif (a Madd ashli) but it meets with Hamzah below in the same word is "La~~" (a Madd Wajib Muttashil/obligatory adjoining = 4 harakah), Hamzah below is "I", Kaf above is "Ka" = "Wa" = and, "U-la~~i-ka" = these
هُمُ اُلْمُفْلِحُونَ = He front is "Hu", Mim front with silent Lam is "Mul" (an Alif lamQomariyah/moon), Mim front with silent Fa is "Muf", Lam below is "Li", H*a front with Waw is "H*u~" (a Madd ashli = 2 harakah), Nun above is "Na" but is paused on (a Waqof Tamm/perfect), Madd `Aridh Lis Sukun is applied = 4 harakah, is "H*u~~n". = "Humu" = they, "al-Muf-li-h*u~~n" = the  victorious = "Wa Ula~~ika Humul-Muf-lih*u~~n" = and these are those who triumph.
