Recitation 4

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم
Assalamu alaikum w. w. Dear Quran lovers,
Let us continue reciting the Al-Fatihah:
(3) أُلرَّحْمَانِ اُلرَّحِيمِ  = Hamzah washol and double Ro is "Ar", (when starting, the Alif lam is always be pronounced with "a", and when meet with double Ro is Alif lam Syamsiah/sun), Ro above with silent H*a is "Roh*", Mim above with tiny alif is "Ma~" (a Madd ashli = 2 harakah), Nun below and double Ro is "Nir" (an Alif lam Syamsiah), Ro above is "Ro", H*a below with Ya is "H*i~" (a Madd ashli = 2 harakah), Mim below is "Mi" but is paused on it, a Madd `Aridh Lis-Sukun/transitory to cease,  applies to 4 harakah, "H*i~~m". This pause is a Waqof Tamm/perfect. = Ar-Rohma~n = The Compassionate, Ar-Rohi~m = the Merciful.
(4) مَالِكِ يَوْمِ اُلدِّينِ 
 مَالِكِ= Mim above with tiny alif is "Ma~" (a Madd ashli = 2 hara- kah), Lam below is "Li", Kaf below is "Ki" = Ma~liki = Owner of
يَوْمِ اُلدِّينِ = Ya above with silent Waw is "Yaw" (a Madd Lin/ softness), Mim below and double Dal is "Mid" (alif lam syamsiah), Dal below with Ya is "Di~" (a Madd ashli = 2 harakah), Nun below is "Ni" but is paused on, a Madd `Aridh Lis-Sukun = 4 harakah, "Di~~n". This pause is a Waqof Tamm/perfect.  = Yaumi = Day of,  ad-Di~~n = Judgement.
(5) إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإْيَّاك نَسْتَعِينُ 
إِيَّا = standing Hamzah below and double Ya is "Iy", Ya above with Alif is "Ya~" (a Madd ashli =2 harakah) = Iy-ya~ =  Unto
كَ = Kaf above is "Ka" = You (alone)
نَعْبُدُ = Nun above with silent `Ain is "Na`" or "Naa", Ba front is "Bu", Dal front is "Du", = Na = we,  Naabudu = we worship
وَ = Waw above is "Wa" = and
إِيَّاكَ = standing Hamzah below and double Ya is "Iy", Ya above with Alif is "Ya~" (a Madd ashli), Kaf above is "Ka", = Iy-ya~ka = unto You (alone)
نَسْتَعِينُ = Nun above with silent Sin is "Nas", Ta above is "Ta", `Ain below with Ya is "`I~" (a Madd ashli =2 harakah), Nun front is "Nu" but is paused on, Madd `Aridh lis-Sukun = 4 harakah, = "`I~~n". This pause is Waqof Tamm/perfect. = Na = we,  Nas-ta-`i~~n = we ask for help.

Let us continue with the Rule of Tajwid:
(12) مد لازم كلمى مخفف = Madd Lazim Kalimi Mukhoffaf = Irrevocable Ligh Word Madd = when a word having a Madd and there is a Sukun, ْ , silent letter immediately after the Madd and the Madd is pronounced without emphasis to the length of 6 harakah. There are only 2 Madd Lazim Kalimi Mukhoffaf in the whole Quran, i.e. in surah 10 Yunus verses 51 and 91, the word is ءَآلْءَانَ (آلآنَ , (please refer to your Quran). It is pronounced as "A~~~l-a~na".

Kita lihat pula sambungan makna Nama Allah ke 98: اُلرَّشِيد = Ar-Rosyi~d = Yang Maha Cendekiawan = Yang memberi penerangan dan tuntutan pada seluruh hambaNya dan yang segala peraturanNya itu berjalan menurut ketentuan yang digariskan oleh kebijaksanaan dan kecendekiawananNya.
(English) The Most Intelligent = Who gives clarifications and demands to all of His bond servants, and the whole of His systems are in accodance with and in correspondence to His wills based on His capability and His intelligent.
