Recitation 10

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم

Assalamu alaikum w. w. Dear Quran lovers,

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم
(255)  اُللهُ لآ إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ اُلْحَىُّ اُلْقَيُّومُ ج لَا تَأْخُذُهُ و سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌ ج لَهُ و مَا فِى اُلسَّمَوَاتِ وَمَا فِى اُلْأَرْضِ قلى مَن  ذَا اُلَّذِى يَشْفَعُ عِندَهُ و إِلَّا بِإِذْنِهِ ى ج يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ صلى وَلَا يُحِيطُونَ بِشَىْءٍ مِّنْ عِلْمِهِ ى إِلَّا بِمَا شَاءَ ج وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ اُلسَّمَوَاتِ وَاُلْأَرْضَ صلى وَلَا يَءُودُهُ و حِفْظُهُمَا ج وَهُوَ اُلْعَلِىُّ اُلْعَظِيمُ 
اُللهُ = Alif lam = the definite article, when Ibtidaa/starting is always "A", Hamzah washol and double Lam is "Al" (an Alif lam syamsiah/sun), Lam above is "Lo" ( a Lam Tafkhim/emphasised of the Lafzhul-Jalalah/word of loftiness), He front is "Hu" = "Allohu" = Allah
لَا إِلَاهَ = Lam above with Alif is a Madd ashli = 2 harakah, but it meets with standing Hamzah in the next word is "La~~" ( a Madd Jaiz Munffashil/permissible disjoining = 5 or 4 or 2 harakah, but we chose 4 harakah), standing Hamzah below is "I", Lam above with a tiny alif is "La~" (a Madd ashli = 2 harakah), He above is "Ha" (Note: this ـه is not a He DHomir/3rd person pronoun,  not a Madd SHilah) = "La~~" = no, not, "Ila~ha" = God
إِلَّا = standing Hamzah below and double Lam is "Il", Lam above with Alif is "La~" (a Madd ashli = 2 harakah) = "Il-la~" = except
هُوَ اُلْحَىُّ اُلْقَيُّومُ = He front is "Hu", Waw above with silent Lam is "Wal" (an Alif lam Qomariyah/moon), H*above and double Ya is "H*ai", Ya front with silent Lam is "Yul" (an Alif lam Qomariyah/ moon), Qof above and double Ya is "Qoi" (a Madd Lin/softness), Ya front with Waw is "Yu~" (a Madd ashli = 2 harakah), Mim front is "Mu" = "Hu-wa" = He, "al-H*ai-yu" = the Living, "al-Qoi-yu~m" = the Self-subsisting Eternal One = "Allohu La~~ Il~ha Il-la~ Huwal-H*aiyul-Qoiyu~mu" = Allah, there is no God (to be worshipped) except He, the Living, the Self-subsisting Eternal One,
ج = a tiny Jim above the letter مُ is a pause sign, called Waqof Jaiz = pause is permitted. (If pause at this word, اُلْقَيُّومُ , then Madd `Aridh Lis-Sukun applies = 4 harakah, "Yu~~m").
لَا تَأْخُذُهُ و سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌ ج  لَّهُ و  مَا فِى اُلسَّمَوَاتِ وَمَا فِى اُلْأَرْضِ قلى
لَا = Lam above with Alif is "La~" (a Madd ashli = 2 harakah) = no
, تَأْخُذُهُ = Ta above with silent standing Hamzah is "Taa", KHo front is "KHu", DZal front is "DZu", He front meets with Sin below is "Hu~" (a Madd Shilah Qoshiroh/ short connecting = 2 harakah, the tiny Waw, و  after هُ is a Madd sign = 2 harakah)  = "Taa-khu-dzu" = to take,  "Hu~" = Him
سِنَةٌ وَ = Sin below is "Si", Nun above is "Na", Ta Marbutah 2 front meets Waw above is "Tuw~" (an Idghom Maal-GHunnah/ assimilation with a humming sound of the nasal to 2 harakah), Waw above is "Wa"  = "Sinatun" = slumber,  "Wa" = and
لَا نَوْمٌ = Lam above with Alif is "La~" = no, not,  Nun above with silent Waw is "Nau" (a Madd Lin/softness), Mim 2 front meets Lam above is "Mul" (an Idghom Bi La~ GHunnah/assimilation without humming the nasal sound), but there is a pause sign, a tiny ج above the مٌ . If pause, it is permissible, and Madd `Aridh Lis-Sukun = 4 harakah is applied = , "Nau~~m".  "La~" = not, "Nau~~m" = sleep = "La~ Taa-khu-dzu-hu~ Si-natuw~Wa La~ Nau~~m" = Neither slumber nor sleep over-takes Him.
لَهُ , مَا فِى اُلسَّمَوَاتِ وَمَا فِى اُلْأَرْضِ قلى  
, لَهُ = Lam above is "La", He front meets Mim above is "Hu~" (a Madd SHilah Qoshiroh/short connecting = 2 harakah),  = "La" = to, for,  "Hu~" = Him,  "La-hu~" = to/for Him
مَا = Mim above with Alif is "Ma~" (a Madd ashli = 2 harakah) = what
فِى اُلسَّمَوَاتِ = Fa below and double Sin  is "Fis" (an Alif lam Syamsiah/sun, the Ya and  Alif lam are unpronounced), Sin above is "Sa", Mim above with tiny Alif is "Ma~" (a Madd ashli = 2 harakah), Waw above with tiny Alif is "Wa~" (a Madd ashli = 2 harakah), Ta below is "Ti" = "Fi~" = in, at,  "as-Sama~wa~ti" = the heavens
وَمَا = Waw above is "Wa", Mim above with Alif is "Ma~" (a Madd ashli =2 harakah)
فِى اُلْأَرْضِ قلى = Fa below with silent Lam is "Fil" ( an Alif lam Qomariyah/moon, the ى and اُ are ignored), standing Hamzah with silent Ro is "Ar", DHod below is "DHi" but is paused on it, is "Ardh" (silent Ro with an above sign letter before it is a Ro Taf-khim/emphasised, and the letter DHod when paused is to be Istiilaa and to be It*baq/ the base and the middle of the tongue is raised, and also to be Istit*olah/ prolonging,  the side of the tongue from the edge to its base is placed at the molar tooth, this pause is done because above its letter ضِ is a pause sign = a tiny قلى called Waqof Jaiz Maa Kaun Waqof Awla = pause is permitted and pause is preferred). = "Wa" = and, "Ma~" = what, "Fi~" = in, at, "al-Ardhi" = the earth. = "La-hu~ Ma~ Fis-Sama~wa~ti Wa Ma~ Fil-Ardh" = His is what are in the heavens and what is in the earth.
