أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم
Assalamu alaikum w. w. Dear Quran lovers,
Let us cotinue with the Rule of Tajwid:
(9e) إخفاء = Ikhfaa = Hiding = hiding the the silent Nun, نْ, under the letter of Ikhfaa. Ikhfaa is also being called Ikhfaa Haqiqi = the Real Ikhfaa. When the immediate letter of نْ or a Tanwin is any of the 15 letters of Ikhfaa, i.e. ت,ث, ج, د, ذ, ز, س, ش, ص, ض, ط, ظ, ف, ق, and ك, the نْ or the Tanwin is hidden simply without emphasis, between the Izhhar/expressing clearly and Idghom/assimilating the silent Nun or the Tanwin under the Ikhfaa letter and with the humming sound of the nasal to the length of 2 harakah e.g. مَن ذَا = mandz~dza~, عِندَهُ = `in~n-dahu~, إِصْرًا كَمَا = ish-ronk-kama~, and so forth.
(10) مّ and نّ = when either Mim or Nun with syaddah sign = ّ /w sign, it must be pronounced with a humming sound of the nasal to the length of 2 harakah. This Rule is called واجب اُلغنة = Wajibul-GHunnah, e.g. هُمَّا = hum~ma~, هُنَّ = hun~na, and so forth.
(11) مد واجب متصل = Madd Wajib Muttashil = Obligatory Adjoining Madd = when the immediate letter of the Madd is a Hamzah, ء, and it is in a same word and it must be pronounced to the length of 4 or 5 harakah, e.g. جَآءَ = ja~~a, سِىءَ = si~~a, سُوءَ = su~~a.
Until we meet again. See you all soon. Wassalamu alaikum w. w.
