Recitation 12

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم
Assalamu alaikum w. w. Dear Quran Lovers,
Correction: The word, شَآءَ is a Madd Wajib Muttashil/obligatory adjoining, = 4 harakah, and when paused, it is still a Madd Wajib and not a Madd `Aridh Lis-Sukun. Madd `Aridh applies only to Madd ashli and Madd Lin. The mistake is regretable.

Let us continue with the Ayat Kursi, s. Al-Baqoroh v. 255. Please refer to the Quran text:
أعوذ بالله من الشيط'ن الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم 
وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ اُلسَّمَ'وَ'تِ وَاُلْأَرْضَ ضلى وَلَايَءُودُهُ , حِِفْظُهُمَا ج 
 وَهُوَ اُلْعَلِىُّ اُلْعَظِيمُ 
وَسِعَ = Waw above is "Wa", Sin below is "Si", 'Ain above is " 'A" = "Wasi-'a" = to encompass/encircle
كُرْسِيُّهُ اُلسَّمَ'وَ'تِ = Kaf front with silent Ro is "Kurr" (Ro Tafkhim/ emphasis), Sin below and double Ya is "Siy", Ya front is "Yu", He front and double Sin is "Hus" (an Alif lam Syamsiah/sun, and this He is not a Madd SHilah because it is not in between 2 vowels), Sin above is "Sa", Mim above with a tiny Alif is "Ma~" (a Madd ashli = 2 harakah), Waw above with a tiny Alif is "Wa~" (a Madd ashli = 2 harakah), Ta below is "Ti" = "Kur-siy-yu" = chair, seat, "Hu" = His, "as-Sama~wa~ti" = the heavens
وَاُلْأَرْضَ صلى = Waw above with silent Lam is "Wal" (an Alif lam Qomariyah), standing Hamzah above with silent Ro is "Arr" ( a Ro Taf-khim/emphasis), DHod above is "DHo" (DHod is an Istiilaa and an It*baq/ the base and the middle of the tongue are raised, and also is an Istit*olah/prolonging, vocal is from the side of the tongue from its edge to its base placed to the molar tooth). The pause sign/Waqof Jaiz Maa Kaun Al-Washol Awla/pause is permitte but Washol/continuity is preferred. (If paused, it is "Wal-Arrdh"), if Washol, "Wal-Arr-dho" = "Wa" = and "al-Arrdho" =  the earth
وَ لَا = Waw above is "Wa", Lam above with Alif is "La~" (a Madd ashli = 2 harakah), = "Wa" = and, "La~" = no, not
, يَءُودُهُ = Ya above is "Ya", Hamzah front with Waw is "U~" (a Madd ashli =2 harakah), Dal front is "Du", He front and meets H*a below is "Hu~" (a Madd SHilah Qoshiroh/short connecting = 2 harakah), = "Ya-u~du" =  burden/weary, "Hu~" = He
حِفْظُهُمَا ج = H*a below with silent Fa is "Hif", ZHo front is "ZHu", He front is "Hu", Mim above with Alif is "Ma~" (a Madd ashli = 2 harakah) = "Hif-zhu" = to take care of, "Hu-ma~" = 2 of them. = "Wa La~ Ya-u~du-hu~ Hif-zhu-hu-ma~" = and He is never weary of taking care of them both.
ج = a Waqof Jaiz/pause is permitted sign.
وَهُوَاُلْعَلِىُّ اُلْعَظِيمُ
وَهُوَاُلْعَلِىُّ اُلْعَظِيمُ = Waw above is "Wa", He front is "Hu", Waw above with silent Lam is "Wal" (an Alif lam Qomariyah/moon), 'Ain above is " 'A", Lam below and double Ya is "Liy", Ya front with silent Lam is "Yul" (an Alif lam Qomariyah/moon), 'Ain above is    " 'A", ZHo below with Ya is "ZHi~" (a Madd ashli = 2 harakah), Mim front is "Mu" but is paused, a Waqof Tamm/perfect, Madd `Aridh Lis-Sukun applies = 4 harakah, "ZHi~~m" = "Wa" = and "Hu-wa" = He, "al-'A-liy-yu" = the Lofty/Sublime, "al-'A-zhi~m" = the Great. "Wa Hu-wal-'Aliy-yul-'A-zzhi~~m" = and He is the Sublime, the Greatest.
