أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم
Assalamu alaikum w. w. Dear Quran lovers,
Let us now recite the 2nd surah Al-Baqoroh. Please refer to the Quran text:
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم
(1) الم
ا = Alif (is not a Madd. Should be pronounced as in accordance to the Rule of Madd Lazim Harfi, i.e. "Alif")
لم = La~~~m~m (a Madd Lazim Harfi Muthaqqol = to the length of 6 harakah, then the sound of "m" is assimilated/Idghom into the Mim next to it with a humming sound of the nasal to the length of 2 harakah), Mi~~~m (a Madd Lazim Harfi Mukhoffaf, to the length of 6 harakah). = "Alif La~~~m~Mi~~~m" = only Allah knows their meanings, but they may mean = From Allah by Jibril to Muhammad.
(2) ذَالِكَ اُلْكِتَابُ لَا رَيْبَ :. فِيهِ :. هُدًى لِلْمُتَقِينَ
ذَالِكَ اُلْكِتَابُ = DZal above with tiny Alif is "DZa~" (a Madd ashli = 2 harakah), Lam below is "Li", Kaf above with silent Lam is "Kal" (an Alif lam Qomariyah/moon), Kaf below is "Ki", Ta above with tiny alif is "Ta~" (a Madd ashli = 2 harakah), Ba front is "Bu" = "DZa~lika" = this, "al-Kita~bu" = Book/Scripture
لَا = Lam above with Alif is "La~" (a Madd ashli = 2 harakah, Note: in singing or what ever, singers etc usually pronounce this word لآ as "La" = short, but in reciting the Words of Allah, it is a Madd/long vowel). "La~" = no, not
رَيْبَ = Ro above with silent Ya is "Roi" (a Madd Lin/softness = 2 harakah), Ba above is "Ba" = "Roiba" = doubt, "La~ Roiba" = there is no doubt
:. فِيهِ :. (the 2 tricolons :. = are marked above the word فيه , they denote Waqof/pause signs called Waqof Taanuq = pause may be made, if so desired, at any one of the 2 tricolons. If pause at the first tricolon after the word "رَيْبَ ", then, Madd `Aridh Lis-Sukun applies = to 4 harakah, after "Roi" (a Madd Lin/softness), we pause on the letter Ba, it should be pronounced as, "Roi~~bb" (Ba is a Qolqolah letter, must be emphasised, "Roi~~bbe"), Fa below with Ya is "Fi~" (a Madd ashli = 2 harakah), He below is "Hi". If we choose to pause at this second tricolon and not the first tricolon, the He below is not pronounced as "Hi",but Madd `Aridh Lis-Sukun
applies, "Fi~~h". These Waqof Taanuq may be ignored, need not pause at any, then "Fi~" = in, at, "Hi" = it. = "La~ Roiba Fi~hi" = there is no doubt about it
هُدًى لِلْمُتَقِينَ = He front is "Hu", Dal 2 above and double Lam is "Dal" (an Idghom Bi La GHunnah, a Tanwin meets with ل , an assimilation without humming the nasal sound, the ى is an extra letter to be ignored), Lam below with silent Lam is "Lil", Mim front and double Ta is "Mut", Ta above is "Ta", Qof below with Ya is "Qi~" (a Madd ashli = 2 harakah), Nun above is "Na" but is paused on it, a Waqof Tamm/perfect, Madd `Aridh Lis-Sukun = 4 harakah is applied, "Qi~~n". "Hudan" = guidance, "li" = to, "al-Muttaqi~~n" = the God-fearing/pious /dutiful to Allah.
"Dza~lika-Kita~bu La~ Roiba Fi~hi Hudal-Lil-Muttaqi~~n" = This is the Scripture whereof without doubt a guidance to those who fear God.
oooooooooo00000oooooooooo
Kita lihat lagi sambungan makna Nama Allah ke 99, terakhir, اُلصَّبُور = Ash-SHobu~r = Yang Maha Penyabar = Yang tidak tergesa2 memberikan siksaan dan tidak pula cepat2 melaksanakan sesuatu sebelum waktunya.
(English) = The Most Patient = Who does not hastily impose punishment nor hurriedly execute anything before its time.
جلّ جلاله = Jalla jala~luh = Allah, Dialah yang memiliki segala Kebesaran = (English) = He, Allah is the Majestic and the Sublime.
Until we meet again. See you all Quran lovers soon. Wassalamu alaikum w. w.
