بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us continue to recite verse 196 of surah 2 Al-Baqoroh (synopsis of Islam). Please refer to the text:
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
(196) فَإِذَآ أَمِنتُمْ فَمَن تَمَتَّعَ بِاُلْعُمْرَةِ إِلَى اُلْحَجِّ فَمَا اُسْتَيْسَرَ مِنَ اُلْهَدْىِ
فَإِذَآ أَمِنتُمْ = "Fa I-dza~~ A-mint~tum",  "Fa" = Then, "I-dza~" = if, "A-min" = safe, "Tum" = you (pl.),
فَمَن تَمَتَّعَ بِاُلْعُمْرَةِ  إِلَى اُلْحَجِّ = "Fa Mant~Ta-mat-ta-'a Bil-'Um-ro-ti I-lal-Haj-ji",  "Fa" = then, "Man" = who, "Ta-mat-ta-'a" = to enjoy, "Bi" = with,"al-'Um-ro-ti" = the 'Umroh/minor Hajj", "I-la~" = until, "al-Haj-ji" = the Hajj/pilgrimage,
فَمَا اُسْتَيْسَرَ مِنَ اَلْهَدْىِ = "Fa Mas-tai-sa-ro Mi-nal-Hadd-y".  "Fa" = then, "Ma~" = of what, "is-tai-sa-ro" = to become easy, "Mi-na" = on, "al-Hadd-yi" = the course.
"Fa I-dza~~ A-mint~Tum Fa Mant~Ta-mat-ta-'a Bil-'Um-ro-ti I-lal-Haj-ji Fa Mas-tai-sa-ro Mi-nal-Hadd-y".  = But after you are safe/free from the enemies or from sickness, and you wish to enjoy in performing 'Umroh at that time until (the time for performing) the Hajj, (then it is "Wajib"/obligatory on him to slaughter a) sacrifice which is easy (for him to obtain the animal) on the course.
(The time for performing Hajj is in the months of Syawwal/10th, Dzul-Qoidah/11th, and the ten nights of the month of Dzul-Hijjah/

12th month.
There are three kinds of the Hajj may be performed with the 'Umroh:
(i) Hajj Ifrod, means the Hajj and the 'Umroh are performed continuously.
(ii) Hajj Qiron, means the Hajj and the 'Umroh are performed simultaneously
(iii) Hajj Tamattoo, means the Umroh is performed in the month of Hajj, before the Hajj is performed, then he shaves and is out of the Ihrom. He enjoys and be happy. Then when the time for Hajj comes, he performs the Hajj. And He will have to slaughter a sacrifice.)
(to be continued).
Until we meet again in the next session, see you all Quran Lovers later.
والسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Abdul Hamid Mohd Yusof.
