Recitation 338.1

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us continue to recite verse 191 of surah 2 Al-Baqoroh (synopsis of Islam). Please refer to the text:
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
(191) وَلَا تُقَتِلُوهُمْ عِندَ اُلْمَسْجِدِ اُلْحَرَامِ  = "Wa La~ Tu-qo~ti-lu~ Hum 'Ind~dal-Mas-ji-dil-Ha-ro~mi",  "Wa" =And, But, "La~" = do not, "Tu-qo~ti-lu~" = you (pl.) fight, attack, "Hum" = them, " 'Ind~da" = in, "al-Mas-ji-di" = the Mosque, "al-Ha-ro~mi" = the Sacred,

 حتَّى يُقَتِلُوكُمْ فِيهِ  = "Hat-ta~ Yu-qo~ti-lu~ Kum Fi~~h".  "Hat-ta~" = until, unless, "Yu-qo~ti-lu~" = they fight, attack, "Kum" = you (pl.), "Fi~" in, "Hi" = it.
"Wa La~ Tu-qo~ti-lu~ Hum 'Ind~dal-Mas-ji-dil-Ha-ro~mi Hat-ta~ Yu-qo~ti-lu~ Kum Fi~~h".  = But do not attack/fight them in the Sacred Mosque until/unless they attack you (first) in it/the Sacred Mosque.
صلى = a Waqof Jaiz sign.
فَإِن قَتَلُوكُمْ فَاُقْتُلُوهُمْ = "Fa Inq~Qo~ta-lu~ Kum Faq-tu-lu~ Hum".  "Fa" = Then, "In" = if, "Qo~ta-lu~" = attacked, "Kum" = you (pl.), "Fa" = then, "uq-tu-lu~" = kill, fight, "Hum" = them.
"Fa Inq~Qo~ta-lu~ Kum Faq-tu-lu~ Hum".  = Then if they attack you (pl.) (in the Sacred Mosque) then fight, kill them.
قلى = a Waqof Jaiz sign.
كَذَلِكَ جَزَآءُ اُلْكَفِرِينَ = "Ka-dza~li-ka Ja-za~~ul-Ka~fi-ri~~n".  "Ka-dza~li-ka" = Such is, "Ja-za~~u" = payment, punishment, "al-Ka~fi-ri~na" = the infidels.
"Ka-dza~li-kas Ja=za~~ul-Ka~fi-ri~~n".  = Such is the punishment for the infidels.
(This verse, "But do not attack/fight them/the Pagan Meccans in the Sacred Mosque until/unless they attack you" means Allah have permitted the Prophet s.a.w. to defence himself against his s.a.w. enemies when attacked in the Sacred Mosque because the Sacred Mosque is in the Sacred Land, Mecca, as the Peophet s.a.w. had said, "Truly, this land/country (Mecca) is forbidden/made Sacred by Allah on the day the heavens and the earth were created, and it/Mecca is forbidden by the prohibition by Allah until the Day of Resurrection of all mankind and the Jinns. It is forbidden except for a second during day time. And truly on that second it is forbidden by the prohibition by Allah until the Resurrection Day. Its trees are not to be cut down and its grass must not be cut nor pulled out. If there is a person who is searching for relief with the excuse on the ground of doing battle like the Prophet s.a.w. did, then tell him that Allah only permitted the Prophet s.a.w. alone and Allah did not give permission to others (to fight in the Sacred Mosque)". (narrated by Bukhori and Muslim.). 
This verse was revealed on the day of Conquest of Mecca, in the eighth year of the Hijrah, the Prophet s.a.w. said to the Pagan Meccans, "Those who stay in the closed doors of the house are safe, those who enter and stay in the mosque are safe, and those who enter and stay in Abu Sufyan's house are also safe (from our onslaught)". (narraeted by Muslim).
And the Muslimin are not to fight/attack the enemies in the Sacred Mosque unless they are attacked. When they are attacked, they are to fight back and kill the enemies in the Sacred Mosque.
The verse, "Such is the punishment for the infidels" means that no Muslim may attack the other or may fight in the Sacred Mosque unless one is being attacked, and he may kill the enemies as a punishment for attacking/fighting him in the mosque.).
