Assalamu alaikum w. w.,
Dear Quran Lovers,
If we cannot perform the solat in full concentration/khusuu, please do not worry about it. As long as we perform it in accordance with its rule/rukun, the solat is valid. There is no rule saying that solat without full concentration is invalid or is a sin. But it is encouraged to concentrate in the solat the best we can. Wallohu aalam/Allah alone knows.
Let us recite surah 110 An~Nashr. Please refer to the text:
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم
(1) إِذَاجَآءَنَصْرُاُللهِ وَاُلْفَتْحُ
إِذَا = "I-dza~" (a Madd ashli = 2 harakah) = When
جَآءَ = "Ja~~a" (a Madd Wajib Muttashil/obligatory = 4 harakah) = come, arrive,
نَصْرُاُللهِ = "Nash- (SHod is an Istiilaa and an It*baq letter) Rul- (an Alif lam SYamsiah, a Ro Tafkhim/thick, the tip of the tongue is raised), Lo (a Lam Tafkhim/thick) hi", "Nash-ru" = help, aid, "Al-Lohi" = Allah
وَاُلْفَتْحُ = "Wal- (an Alif lam Qomariyah) Fat-h*u, but is paused on it, a Waqof Tamm, is "Fat-h*". "Wa" = and "al-Fat-h*u" = the opening, the victory. "I-dza~ Ja~~a Nash-rul-Lohi Wal-Fat-h*" =
When Allah's help and victory come (in capturing Mecca city which fell into the hands' of the Prophet s.a.w. who marched into Mecca with his 10,000 - 100,000 strong Muslims, in the last week of Ramadan in the 10th year of Hegira, {the Prophet and his men did not fast on those days}, without spilling a drop of blood).
(2) وَرَأَيْتَ اُلنَّاسَ يَدْخُلُونَ فِى دِينِ اُلله أفْوَاجًا
وَرَأَيْتَ اُلنَّاسَ = "Wa" = and, "Ro- (a Ro Tafkhim/thick) "Ai-" (a Madd Lin = 2 harakah), "Tan~" (an Alif lam SYamsiyah, and نّ is a Wajibul-GHunnah = 2 harakah), "Na~" (a Madd ashli = 2 harakah), "Sa", "Ro-ai" = see, "Ta" = you, "an~Na~sa" = the mankind
يَدْخُلُونَ = "Yadd- (Dal is a Qoqolah/emphasis letter) KHu- (KHo is an Istiilaa/the base of the tongue is raised letter) Lu~ (a Madd ashli = 2 harakah), Na", "Yadd-khu-lu~na" = they enter
فِى = "Fi~" (a Madd ashli = 2 harakah) = into
دِينِ اُللهِ = "Di~" (a Madd ashli = 2 harakah), "Nil-" (an Alif lam SYamsiah), "La" (a Lam Tarqiq/soft and thinning out because الله is after نِ ), "Hi", "Di~ni" = religion, "Al-Lahi" = Allah
أَفْوَاجًا = "Af-wa~ (a Madd ashli = 2 harakah), "Jan" but is paused on it, a Waqof Tamm, is "Ja~". "Af-wa~jan" = in crowds. "Wa Ro-ai Tan~Na~sa Yadd-khu-lu~na Fi~ Di~nil-Lahi Af-wa~ja~ " = And you see mankind entering the religion of Allah in crowds.
(3) فَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِرَبِّكَ وَاُسْتَغْفِرْهُ ج إِنَّهُ كَانَ تَوَّابَام
فَسَبِّحْ = "Fa" = Then, "Sab-bih*" = glorify
بِحَمْدِ = "Bi" = by, "H*am-di" = praise, praising
رَبِّكَ = "Rob- (a Ro Tafkhim/thick) "Bi-ka", "Rob-bi" = Lord, "Ka" = your
وَاُسْتَغْفِرْهُ = "Was-Tagh- (GHain is an Istiilaa letter), "Fir- (a Ro Tarqiq, when a silent Ro is after a below sign letter, فِ , the tip of the tongue is not raised), "Hu" but is paused on it, a Waqof Jaiz/ permissible, is "Fir-h". "Is-tagh-fir" = ask for forgiveness, "Hu" = His.
"Fa Sab-bih* Bi H*am-di Rob-bi Ka Was-tgh-fir-h" = Then give glory/Tas-bih* (by reciting "Sub-h*a~nal-Loh) and give praise (by reciting Al-H*am-du-lil-lah) to your Lord and (seek) His forgiveness (for the Prophet s.a.w. and for his ummah/people/followers. Thus the Prophet s.a.w. always recited after that, in his Rukuu and his sujud, "Sub-ha~na-ka Rob-ba-na wa Bi H*am-di ka Allahumagh-fir-li~", but we recite "Sub-h*a-na Rob-bi-yal-'A-zhi~m/'Aa-la~ Wa Bi H*am-dih, Allohum-magh-fir-li~ Wa Li Wa~li-dai-ya" is the same).
إِنَّهُ , كَانَ تَوَّابَام
إِنَّهُ = "In~" (نّ is a wajibul-GHunnah = 2 harakah) "Na-hu~ (a Madd SHilah Qosirah = 2 harakah), "In~na" = That, "Hu~" = He,
كَانَ = "Ka~ (a Madd ashli = 2 harakah) "Na", "Ka~na" = to be, is,
تَوَّابًا = "Taw-wa~ (a Madd ashli =2 harakah), "Ban" but is paused on. a Waqof Tamm, is "Ba~". "Taw-wa~ban" = relenting towards the repentant. "In~na-hu~ Ka~na Taw-wa~ba~" = For He is ever relenting towards those who repent.
صدق الله العظيم = True were the Words of Allah.
(186 days after this surah was revealed, The Prophet s.a.w. passed away).
In the next session, we shall, insya Allah, recite surah 36 يس , Yasi~~~n.
