Recitation 326

Dear Quran Lovers,
Before we recite the verse, let us look into the rule of Nun 'Iwadh/substitude Nun: When the final letter of a word is with a Tanwin/2 signs and is followed by an Alif Lam/ال, a نِ is added to between the letters.
Let us now continue to recite surah 2 Al-Baqoroh (synopsis of Islam). Please refer to the text:
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
(180) كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذَا حَضَرَ أَحَدَكُمُ اُلْمَوْتُ إِن تَرَكَ خَيْرًا اُلْوَصِيَّةُ لِلْوَلِدَيْنِ وَاُلْأَقْرَبِينَ بِاُلْمَعْرُوفِ صلى حَقًّا عَلَى اُلْمُتَّقِينَ
كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذَا حَضَرَ أَحَدَكُمُ اُلْمَوْتُ = "Ku-ti-ba 'A-lai Kum I-dza~ Ha-dho-ro A-ha-da Ku-mul-Mau-tu",  "Ku-ti-ba" = To be fated, decreed, " 'A-lai" = upon, "Kum" = you (pl.), "I-dza~" = when, "Ha-dho-ro" = to be present, approached, "A-ha-da" = one, "Ku-mu" = you, "al-Mau-tu" = the death,
Int~Ta-ro-ka KHoi-ro-nil-(Nun 'Iwadh)Wa-shiy-ya-tu",  "In" = if, "Ta-ro-ka" = to leave, "KHoi-ron" = plenty of wealth,"al-Wa-shiy-ya-tu" = the bequest,
لِلْوَلِدَيْنِ وَاُلْأَقْرَبِينَ بِاُلْمَعْرُوفِ = "Lil-Wa~li-dai-ni Wal-Aqq-ro-bi~na Bil-Maa-ru~~f".  "Li" = to, "al-Wa~li-dai-ni" = the parents, "Wa" = and, "al-Aqq-ro-bi~na" = the relatives, "Bi" = with, "al-Maa-ru~fi" = the kindness.

صلى = a Waqof Jaiz sign.
Haq-qon 'A-lal-Mut-ta-qi~~n".  "Haq-qon" = one's duty, " 'A-la~" = upon, "al-Mut-ta-qi~na" = the Godfearing, the devoted.
"Haq-qon 'A-lal-Mut-ta-qi~~n". = It is a duty upon the devoted (to Allah).
(This verse contains a decree to leave a bequest to the parents and relatives. This verse was revealed before the verses concerning the inheritors. When the verses about the heirs were revealed, this verse is annulled. Ibnu Abbas r.a. said, "The verse, "to leave a bequest to the parents and relatives" is being replaced by verse 7, surah 4 An-Nisaa, "To the men (of a family) shall have a share in what their parents and kinsmen leave, and to the women shall have a share in what their parents and kinsmen leave, whether it be little or much, (they are entitled to) a determined share.".).
(181) (to be continued).
Until we meet again in the next session, see you all Quran Lovers later.
