Recitation 325

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم 
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us continue to recite surah 2 Al-Baqoroh (synopsis of Islam). Please refer to the text:
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم 
(179) وَلَكُمْ فِى اُلْقِصَاصِ حَيَوةٌ يَأُُوْلِى اُلْأَلْبَابِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ
وَلَكُمْ فِى اُلْقِصَاصِ حَيَوةٌ يَأُوْلِى اُلْأَلْبَابِ = "Wa La Kum Fil-Qi-sho~shi Ha-ya~tuy~Ya~ U-lil-Al-Ba~bi",  "Wa" = And, "La" = for, "Kum" = you (pl.), "Fi~" = in, "al-Qi-sho~shi" = the punishment, "Ha-ya~tun" = to live, "Ya~" = O, "U-li~" = owner, "al-Al-Ba~bi" = the door, ("U-lil-Al-Ba~bi = men of understanding), 
لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ = "La-'al-la Kum Tat-ta-qu~~n".  "La-'al-la" = perhaps, so that, "Kum" = you (pl.), "Tat-ta-qu~na" = to fear Allah, to be devoted, to be pious.
"Wa La Kum Fil-Qi-sho~shi Ha-ya~tuy~Ya~ U-lil-Al-Ba~bi La-'al-la Kum Tat-ta-qu~~n".  = And in the "Qishosh"/punishment, there is (an assurance with continous) to live for you, O men of understanding, so that you may be devoted to Allah in fidelity and that you abstain from all evil deeds.
(Allah have made an assurance with the continuous to live in "Qishosh"/punishment that a person who had intentionally murdered another person must be punished with death. But in order that another life be preserved, if the victim's family members consent the murderer to pay a "Diat"/blood-money, he needs not die. Thus, this "Qishosh"/punishment has stopped many people who wanted to kill another from killing due to their fear for being punished with death.
Allah call the people of understanding to abstain from committing sins and all deeds that are forbidden by Allah so that they be devoted to Allah in steadfast faithfulness.).
