Recitation 356

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us continue to recite surah 2 Al-Baqoroh, synopsis of Islam. Please refer to the text:
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
(209) فَإِن زَلَلْتُم مِّنم بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَتْكُمُ اُلْبَيِّنَتُ فَاُعْلَمُواْ~ أَنَّ اُللهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ
فَإِن زَلَلْتُم مِّنم بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَتْكُمُ اُلْبَيِّنَتُ = "Fa Inz~Za-lal Tum~Mim~Baa-di Ma~ Ja~~at Ku-mul-Bai-yi-na~tu",  "Fa" = Then, But, "In" = if, "Za-lal" = slip, to err, "Tum" = you (pl.), "Min" = from, "Baa-di" = after, "Ma~" = what, "Ja~~at" = to bring to, "Ku-mu" = you (pl.), "al-Bai-yi-na~tu" = the clear proof, 
فَاُعْلَمُواْ~ أَنَّ اُللهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ = "Faa-la-mu~~ An~nal-Loha 'A-zi~zun Ha-ki~~m".  "Fa" = then, "ii-la-mu~" = be informed, know, "An~na" = that, "Al-Loha" = Allah, " 'A-zi~zun" = Most Powerful, "Ha-ki~mun" = Most Wise.
"Fa Inz~Za-lal Tum~Mim~Baa-di Ma~ Ja~~at Ku-mul-Bai-yi-na~tu Faa-la-mu~~ An~nal-Loha 'A-zi~zun Ha-ki~~m".  = But if you slip away/slide back (from the path of Allah) after clear proofs have come to you, then know that Allah is Most Powerful, Most Wise.
(Allah s.w.t. is reminding us, the Believers that if we slipped away/slid back from the Truth after He s.w.t. had estabilished the clear proofs to us, know that Allah s.w.t. is Most Powerful in His s.w.t. torment, and will never be defeated by anyone. He s.w.t. is Most Wise in His s.w.t judgments, and in His s.w.t. carrying into execution.).

Let us now look into the Rites For Umra:
In the previous session, we have discussed about the group of the "future Hajj and Hajjah" who go to Medina first. Let us now discuss about the group who go from Malaysia to Jeddah and from Jeddah to Mecca. They, the menfolks will put on the Two pieces of white Ihrom cloths, while the womenfolks will put on their white Solat cloaks, from Malaysia. Their Miqot Makani is Qornul Manazil, where their will resolve in their hearts the Niat to perform the Ihrom for Umra, while reciting it, "I resolve to perform Umra".
From then on, they will recite the Talbiyah"/Response:
لَبَّيْكَ اللَّهُمَّ لَبَّيْكَ = "Lab-bai Kal-Lohum~ma Lab-bai~k" = (Here I am, at Your service, O Allah, here I am, at Your service!).
لَبَّيْكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ لَبَّيْكَ = "Lab-bai Ka La~ Sya-ri~ka La Ka Lab-bai~k" = (Here I am, at Your service, You are without peer/equal, here I am, at Your service!).
إِنًّ الْحَمْدَ وَالنِّعْمَةَ = "In~nal-Ham-da Wan~Nii-ma-ta" = (Truly the praises and the thanks, and the grace,)
لَكَ وَالْمُلْكَ = "La Ka Wal-Mulk" = (and the sovereignty belong to You).
لَا شَرِيْكَ لَكَ = "La~ Sya=ri~ka Lak".  = (You are without peer/ equal).
This Talbiyah/response should be recited loudly all the way to Mecca.
  (a) While the "future Hajj and Hajjah are travelling to Mecca, those who come directly from their home country and their Miqot Makani is Qornul Manazil, or from Medina and their Miqot is Dzul-Hulaifah or better known as Bir 'Ali, let us look into things that a person while in Ihrom can do:
(i) He/She may take a bath or shower (from Jabir r.a.).
(ii) wash clothes and change cloths/clothes, (from Jabir r.a.),
(iii) women may wear short pants, (from Aisyah, narrated by Bukhori).
(iv) women may cover their faces when there is dust and sand blown by the wind (narrated by Asy-Syafiei and others),
(v) women may wear half boots (from Aisyah narrated by Abu Daud and others),
(vi) men covering their heads due to forgetfulness (according some Syafiei people, but Hanafi was/is of the opinion that, they must pay Fid-yah).
(vii) to Hajam/to cup/to draw blood by a glass cup, to discharge pus, to extract a tooth, to cut a vein (from Malik, Ibnu Abbas, and Nawawi).
(viii) to scratch the head and the body (to be continued).
