Recitation 352

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us continue to recite surah 2 Al-Baqoroh, synopsis of Islam. Please refer to the text:
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
(205)  وَإِذَا تَوَلَّى سَعَى فِى اُلْأَرْضِ لِيُفْسِدَ فِيهَا وَيُهْلِكَ اُلْحَرْثَ وَاُلنَّسْلَ قلى وَاُللهُ لَا يُحِبُّ اُلْفَسَادَ
وَإِذَا تَوَلََّى سَعَى فِى اُلْأَرْضِ = "Wa I-dza~ Ta-wal-la~ Sa-'a~ Fil-Arr-dhi",  "Wa" = And, "I-dza~" = when, "Ta-wal-la~" = he turns away, "Sa-'a~" = move quickly, "Fi~" = on, "al-Arr-dhi" = the earth, land,
لِيُفْسِدَ فِيهَا وَيُهْلِكَ اُلْحَرْثَ وَاُلنَّسْلَ = "Li Yuf-si-da Fi~ Ha~ Wa Yuh-li-kal-Harr-tha Wan~Nasl".  "Li" = to, "Yuf-si-da" = he causes mischief, evil, "Fi~" = in, "Ha~" = it, "Wa" = and, "Yuh-li-ka" = he destroys, "al-Harr-tha" = the cultivation, "Wa" = and, "an~Nas-li" = the animals.
"Wa I-dza~ Ta-wal-la~ Sa-'a~ Fil-Arr-dhi Li Yuf-si-da Fi~ Ha~ Wa Yuh-li-kal-Harr-tha Wan~Nasl".  = And when he turns away (from you O Muhammad), he moves quickly/hastens on the land to commit mischief/evil, destroying crops and cattle.
قلى = a Waqof Jaiz sign.
وَاُللهُ لَا يُحِبُّ اُلْفَسَادَ = "Wal-Lohu La~ Yu-hib-bul-Fa-sa~~dd".  "Wa" = And, For, "Al-Lohu" = Allah, "La~" = not, "Yu-hib-bu" = He loves, "al-Fa-sa~da" = the mischief/evil.
"Wal-Lohu La~ Yu-hib-bul-Fa-sa~~dd".  = For Allah do not love the mischief/evil.
[ N.B. It is very wrong, it is a sin to recite this verse in this manner: "Wal-Lo Hula~ Yu-hib-bulFa-sa~d".  If we were to always pronounce the word Allohu, or Allohi, or Alloha, as Allo Hu, Allo Hi, Allo Ha, such as in Bismilla Hir-Rohmani, or La~ Ila~ Ha-il-lalloh and so forth, shows that there are flaws in our Iman/Faith in Allah. Because by pronoucing, Allo Hu-akbar, we have humiliated and  we have degraded Him s.w.t..  Allah forbid!].
(This verse informs us, Muslimin, that the hypocrites wish nothing but to cause mischief or evil on earth, they love to destroy crops and the cattle which are the  main food for humans. Allah do not love those who are evil).

Let us now continue to look into the Umra:
  The Miqot Zamani/Time for Umra:
  The Umra may be performed at any time of the year.
  The Miqot Makani/Meeting Point for Ihrom for Umra. They are the same as that of the Hajj. They are:
  The Hadith from Ibnu Abbas said that the Prophet s.a.w. had determined the Miqot Makani where the Ihrom is Wajib for:
  (a) people from Medina, the Miqot Makani is Zul Hulaifah,
  (b) people from Syria, the Miqot Makani is Juhfah,
  (c) people from Najdi,                "                 Qarnul Manazil,
  (d) people from Yemen,             "                  Yalamlam,
  (e) people from Iraq,                  "                   Zatu'irqin,
  (f) people come by sea from India,    "           Ibrahim Mursia,
  (g) people from Mecca,                   "              Taneim.
These are the Miqot Makani for the inhabitants of these respective places and also for other people who go through these places to perfrom the Umra and, or the Hajj.
