Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us continue to recite surah 2 Al-Baqoroh (synopsis of Islam). Please refer to the text:
أعوذ بالله من الشطان الرجيم
(171) وَمَثَلُ اُلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ كَمَثَلِ اُلَّذِي يَنْعِقُ بِمَا لَا يَسْمَعُ إِلَّا دُعَآءً وَنِدَآءً ج صُمٌّ بُكْمٌ عُمْىٌ فَهُمْ لَا يَعْقِلُونَ
وَمَثَلُ اُلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ = "Wa Ma-tha-lul-La-dzi~na Ka-fa-ru~",  "Wa" = And, "Ma-tha-lu" = to compare, "al-La-dzi~na" = who (m. pl.), "Ka-fa-ru~" = disbelieve,
Ka Ma-tha-lil-La-dzi~ Yan-'i-qu",   "Ka" = like, "Ma-tha-li" = compare, "al-La-dzi~" = who, "Yan-'i-qu" = he bleats/calls out like a sheep or whatever,
بِمَا لَا يَسْمَعُ إِلَّا دُعَآءً وَنِدَآءً = "Bi Ma~ La~ Yas-ma-'u Il-la~ Du-'a~~aw~Wa Ni-da~~a".  "Bi Ma~" = with what, "La~" = not, "Yas-ma-'u" = to hear, "il-la~" = except, but, "Du-'a~~an" = a call, "Wa" = and, "Ni-da~~an" = a summon.
"Wa Ma-tha-lul-La-dzi~na Ka-fa-ru~ Ka Ma-tha-lil-La-dzi~ Yan-'i-qu Bi Ma~ La Yas-ma-'u Il-la~ Du-'a~~aw~Wa Ni-da~~a".  = And to compare those who disbelieve is like comparing them to the animals which are bleat (by their shepherd), they/the animals hear nothing but a call and a summon (made by their shepherd).
ج = a Waqof Jaiz sign.
"SHum~mun" = deaf, "Buk-mun" = dumb, " 'Um-yun" = blind, "Fa" = then, "Hum" = they, "La" = do not, "Yaa-qi-lu~na" = understand.
"SHum~mum~Buk-mun 'Um-yunf~Fa Hum La~ Yaa-qi-lu~~n".  = They/the disbelievers are deaf, dumb, blind, thus they do not understand/know (the Truth).
(Allah s.w.t. compare the disbelievers who are lost in error, in delusion, and in density to the animals reared, and He s.w.t. compare the Islamic Propagator to the shepherd. The animals/the disbelievers do not understand a word of what the shepherd's/ Propagator's call. All that they hear was the sound of a call and a summon. They cannot hear the Truth, nor can they talk about it, nor can they see the way to the Truth. Thus they will never know nor understand anything of the Truth,).
(172) (to be continued).
Until we meet again in tyhe next session, see you all Quran Lovers soon.
Abdul Hamid Mohd Yusof.
