Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us continue to recite surah 2 Al-Baqoroh (synopsis of Islam). Please refer to the text:
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
(153) يَأَيُّهَا اَلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ اُسْتَعِينُواْ بِاُلصَّبْرِ وَاُلصَّلَوةِ ج إِنَّ اُللهَ مَعَ اُلصَّبِرينَ
يَأَيُّهَا اُلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ اُسْتَعِينُواْ بِاُلصَّبْرِ وَاُلصَّلَوةِ = Ya~ai-yu-hal-La-dzi~na A~ma-nus-ta-'i~nu~ Bish-SHobb-ri Wash-SHo-la~~h". "Ya~ai-yu-ha~" = O, "al-La-dzi~na" = those who, "A~ma-nu~" = believe, "is-ta-'i~nu~" = you (pl.) resort to for help, "Bi" = with, "ash-SHobb-ri" = patience, "Wa" = and, "ash-SHo-la~ti" = Solat.
"Ya~ai-yu-hal-La-dzi~na A~ma-nus-ta-'i~nu~ Bish-SHobb-ri W#Ash-SHo-la~~h". = O those who believe (in Allah, in His Messenger s.a.w. and in the Hereafter)! Resort to (Allah) for help with patience and (with performing) Solat.
ج = a waqof Jaiz sign.
إِنَّ اُللهَ مَعَ اُلصَّبِرِينَ = "In~nal-Loha Ma-ash-SHo~bi-ri~~n". "In~na" = Truly, "Al-Loha" = Allah is, "Ma-'a" = together with, "ash-SHo~bi-ri~na" = those who are patience.
"In~nal-Loha Ma-'ash-SHo~bi-ri~~n". = Truly, Allah is together with those who are patience.
(After Allah have explained about the need for us, the Muslimin, to give thanks and be thankful to Him, Allah explain the meaning of to be patience, and is giving guidance on how to resort to Him for help with patience and performing Solat. At times, we, His bondservants gained His Niimat and we give thanks and be thankful to Him, or, at times, we incurred misfortune and we bore it with patience. Thus, Allah tell us that the best way to bear misfortune is to be patience and to perform Solat. There are three categories of patience, (i) patience of abstaining from things that are Haram/forbiden and the sinnful. (ii) Patience of performing piety/fidelity, and of bringing ourselves closer to Allah. These two promises a huge and a very handsome reward from Allah. (iii) Patience of suffering, of adversity, and of difficulties which reqiures one to recite the "Is-tigh-far"/ to ask Allah's forgiveness by sayning, "As-tagh-fi-rul-Lohal-'A-zhi~m" several times. Then perform Solat humbly and earnestly that Allah will deliver us from our misfortune. Allah is always with those who are patience. Never swear nor curse nor blame others for the misfortune but smile! And put our trust and hope in Allah).
(154) (to be continued).
Until we meet again in the next session, see you all Quran Lovers soon.
