Abu Dzar r.a. reported, "That the Prophet s.a.w. said, "The earth cleanses the Muslims (from major and/or minor defilements) even if he could not obtain water for ten years. Should he, at later time, obtain water, then he should wash his skin, because this is better for him to do so." (narrated bu Ahmad and Tirmidzi who confirmed it).

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم

بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم
ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us continue to recite surah 92 Al-Lail. Please refer to the text:
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
(16) اُلَّذِى كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّى = "Al-La-dzi~ Kadz-dza-ba Wa Ta-wal-la~". "Al-La-dzi~" = Who, "Kadz-dza-ba" = deny the truth to, "Wa" = and, "Ta-wal-la~" = who turn away.
"Al-La-dzi~ Kadz-dza-ba Wa Ta-wal-la~" = (That is) Those who deny the truth and turn away (from His/Allah's commandments).
(17) وَسَيُجَنَّبُهَا اُلْأَتْقَى = " Wa Sa Yu-jan~na-bu Hal-At-qo~". "Wa" = And, "Sa" = will, shall, "Yu-jan~na-bu" = keep away, "Ha~" = her, it, "al-At-qo~" = the pious.

(19) (to be continued).
                                  oooo000oooo
Let us now continue to look into the Islamic Basic Rules:
(2) Solat: Water: Tayammum:
(iii) The Manner/Mode Of Taking The Tayammum:
     (a) Firstly, a Niat/intent should be resolved in one's heart, "Because of Allah, I am taking Tayammum" or any other verse of your own.
    (b). Recite, "Bismillahir-Rohma~nirRohi~m".
    (c) Tap/pat both hands onto the earth/sand/stone/small stones/dust/soil/brick, then wipe the whole face area, from the roots of the hair down to the under chin, just as in Wudhuu, once.
    (d) Then wipe both hands up to the wrists.
There is no other clarification more authentic and more certain about the manner of the Tayammum then this Hadith reported by 'Imar r.a. who said, "I was in Janabah and could not find water (to Ghusul), I crushed/smeared myself with sand (bathing himself with sand), then I performed solat. Then, (I went to the Prophet s.a.w. and) I told him what I had done. The Prophet s.a.w. said, "It is suffice when you do like this: the Prophet s.a.w. tapped both of his palms onto the ground, them blew them (so that the sand  be blown away and the earth does not hurt Imar's face and hands), then wiped his face and his "Kaf-faik"/palms". (narrated by Bukhari and Muslim).
In other Hadith, it is reported that  the Prophet s.a.w. said, "It is suffice you tap both of you palms to the ground, then blow, and then wipe your face and (wipe) your both hands up to the "Rusghoin"/wrists." (narrated by Ad-Darulqutni).
In this Hadith it explains that the earth is tapped once, then blow the earth, and then wipe the face and then the hand up to the wrist.
(vi) Things that can be done when in Tayammum: (to be continued).
Tomorrow is Friday, we are taking a day off. We shall see you all Quran Lovers on the day after. See you all then soon.

(2) Solat: Water: Tayammum:
   (i) When Tayammum is permitted: Its conditions are:
     (e) When one is in need of water and water is scarce and not much, whether the water is in need presently or at a later time for his drinking, or for others, even for a tame dog, or for mixing flour, or for cooking, or for cleansing defilement and so forth, then one should take a Tayammum and keep the water for other necessities. Imam Ahmad r.a. said, "A number of companions took tayammum and had kept the water for their drinking."
And from Ali r.a. that he had made a Ruling to a man who was in his journey and was in Janabah/major defilement, and had brought with him little water and was worried about being thirsty: "You should take a Tayammum and do not take a bath." (narrated by Darulqotni). Ibnu Taimiah said, "Those who withstand their urge to urinate and had no water available, it is more preferable for them to urinate and take a Tayammum when wanting to perform solat, rather than taking a Wudhuu and perform solat while he is withstanding the urge to urinate".
(f) When a person has enough water, but is worried that if he took a Wudhuu or a Ghusul he would lose his solat time, then he/she should take a Tayammum and perform his/her solat, and need not/is not obligated to retake the Wudhuu or the Ghusul or reperform the solat.
(ii) Earth that can be used in Tayammum: (to be continued).
Until we meet again in the next session. See you all Quran Lovers later.

Recitation 137

أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم
ألسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته
Dear Quran Lovers,
Let us continue to recite surah 92 Al-Lail. Please refer to the text:
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم
(5) فَأَمَّا مَنْ أَعْطَى وَاُتَّقَى = "Fa Am~ma~ Man Aa-t*o~ Wat-Ta-qo~". "Fa" = Then, "Am~ma~" = as for, "Man" = who, "Aa-t*o~" = to give, "Wa" = and, "it-Ta-qo~" = pious.
"Fa Am~ma~ Man Aa-t*o~ Wat-Ta-qo~" = Then, as for those who give (their money/wealth in the course of Allah) and are pious (in obeying Allah by sacrificing their wealth and lives).

(7) فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُولِلْيُسْرَى = "Fa Sa Nu-yas-si-ru Hu~ Lil-Yus-ro~". "Fa" = Then, "Sa" = shall, "Nu-yas-si-ru" = We ease, "Hu~" = him, "Li" = to, "al-Yus-ro~" = the easiness.

(8) (to be continued).
                               oooo000oooo
Let us now continue to look into the Basic Islamic Rules:
(2) Solat: Water/Tayammum:
(VI) (i) When the Tayammum is permitted. Its conditions:
       (d) When water is available, but one worries about one's safety, or self-respect and wealth, or one might lose one's companion, or between him and the water, there is an enemy, either a human or others obstructing him from obtaining the water. Or if one is being imprisoned, or is unable to obtain water because there is no mean to get the water, such as no tap, or scoop or what ever. Then taking Tayammum is permissible.
A person is permitted to take Tayammum if he is worried that he would be accused of doing immoral thing and that he would be in trouble if he bathe, such as, when he spends a night at his friend's house and his friend has a wife and daughters, and he is in Janabah in early morning.
